With the age profile of their list, would be a gamble for someone incoming to take that on (ie Buckley/Simpson/Longmire/Hinkley) IMO

A younger coach would be a better fit for where they are heading

Since Goodwin has a year to run on his contract, so I would assume that would be paid out under the coaches cap? That may make it hard to afford an experienced coach if that is the case.

Simpson would be proved a liar if he takes the job so it won't be him. The other experienced coaches will be too expensive for a club that's just chucked a million away. So I'm guessing someone to get their first crack at a senior position gets the gig.
