I would've put him as our third best performing mid in 2015.

Gee, either Jetta is going to go a long way backwards this year or our other players will have improved dramatically if some people believe he won't be in our best 8 midfielders this year.

Jetta has a lot to prove and based on his efforts last year he is behind all those listed above.
But you're right he should play a bit on the wing but maybe more half foward and some back.
dont think he will be spending too much time in the middle. Get a feeling he will be used as a half back or as a high half forward and might rotate a bit through the wing.
How much of Jetta did you see last year?
I feel like people are over-emphasizing his poor form.
He was certainly good in a number of games - round 6, rounds 9-11, rounds 17-19.
Sure there were a few appalling games - round 4, round 13, round 21 and the semi-final.
However, they weren't all terrible.
Gaff all day.

I didn't see a lot but didn't have to.
When you have the media questioning your intent it doesn't exactly scream watch me play footy.
His output may have been pretty good some weeks but if his heart wasn't in it then he has a fair way to come to slot into the best handful of midfielders in a top 2 team.

So we are basing our appraisal of players on what the media is saying now? I guess Nic Nat truly is a poor mans Zac Clarke

No I wouldn't dare. I like many don't rate the football media much at all, so when they are the ones flinging poop it's obviously pretty bad.
Jetta got what he deserved now he can can make it right again and if he kick 45 goals and goes AA the media will jump on him again.
Shuey for mine, with Yeo spending more time through the midfield (hopefully) and with Jetta and Redden (who'll hopefully add a bit of protection) coming into the team and as well with continued dominance by Gaff on the outside. I think this year we could really see Shuey explode and have the breakout we've all been waiting for / wanting to see.
I don't watch any footy tv shows but I know that they like blowing things well out of proportion, whether it's positive or negative.
ex-players in particular seem to froth at any opportunity to pick up on the slightest lack of intensity, as if to try and prove just how much of a lord they themselves were back in the day.
Jetta was one of the only guys trying when we pumped Sydney, so it's not as if he's a condemned front runner - just needs to play like that consistently.
Its funny how rosa and selwood couldnt handle being sub or dropped . The spots are even more challenging this year . Will Masten crack ? I think he will . Priddis and Shuey are my obvious choice for most effective mids. Closely followed by Gaff . Then it will be a beautiful thing to watch the other mids battle it out for the other spots
