Who do we all think will be the first team to thrash Essendon?

I am tipping the next Eagles home game but it could be earlier than that.

Most of the Essendon supporters at the start of the year said that they will not have as many wins this year as last year. I want the Essendon supporters to tell me who will beat them. Not who might beat them, but who will beat them.

) Though if I had to pick a team, from the form that I have seen so far, the Hawks or Swans.

Swannies are definitely a chance as Essendon haven't had all that many wins at the SCG in recent years.

Even last year, when the Swans were undermanned they only lost by 13 points.

Having said that, I'm not putting the house on 'em.

Are you for real, how the hell can anyone say who will beat us, we don't have a crystal ball, you can only speculate on who might.

the dons are a hard team to beat, but they are beatable...
i don't think it'll take till round 10 to happen though... i think it might be sooner, or though i'm not sure of who they are playing...

Like Manchester United before them Essendon rise from the ashes winning the next three premierships in a row with a baby bombers team .

Good point Sandy - and I think that Sydney might beat Essendon.
We had trouble beating them last year up at the SCG, and it was a close game (well, sort of) against them in the Ansett Cup.

And being a poor old West Australian I can only recognise some Victorian teams. I only recognise Essendon because Sheeds keeps waving his jacket at me.

Mind you I was told by mantis that the truth behind the jacket waving is that Sheeds farted and was trying to clear the air.

Sydney will be the first to knock off Essendon at the SCG. If they can't do it, it'll either take Brisbane at the Gabba, Hawthorn, Melbourne or Richmond to do it.

Geelongs first loss will be this week to Melbourne.

Geelong and Port Adelaide are the two most likely in my book. Followed by Sydney at the SCG. I also think the Demons might jump up at bite us, considering the Grand Final rematch factor.

the best chance of essendon losing a game is against Sydney at the SCG, but apart from that I can't see them losing a game
