But anyway. Just a reminder that Essendon finished ahead of Hawthorn, Adelaide and Melbourne. Nobody in this thread gave us a chance at the start of the year, but we finished above Hawthorn, Melbourne and Adelaide. In conclusion, we finished above Hawthorn.

Essendon weren’t missing their number one player for the entire season. Enjoy losing Daniher and Fantasia this off-season.

1 injury can derail Hawthorn's entire season? OH NO.

Essendon missing their last 2 BnF winners for basically the entire year and still played finals. We aren't great, but we finished above Hawthorn in 2019.
