Liverpool plays Auxerre in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Cup. If they can overcome that hurdle (not easy the way we are going) we will play the winners of Stuttgart v Celtic!!!!

Liverpool v Celtic - I couldn't lose!

Who could forget last time that happened and McMananman scored the last minute equaliser at Parkhead, enough to get the Reds through on away goals.

Other games (group so the winners will play each other):
Hertha Berlin v Boavista
Malaga v AEK Athens

Anderlecht v Panathanaikos
Porto v Denizlispor

Slavia Prague v Besiktas (what a blockbuster)
Lazio v Wisla Krakow

Based on that it's impossible to see Lazio not making the semis, I'll tip the others to be Porto and Malaga.

I think Liverpool have a good chance to progress as we'll hopefully have come out of our form slump and be playing much better football come the matches against Auxerre.

Looking at the opposition, I don't think Anderlecht has anything to worry about. They can win this with only 9 players on the field.
