Smith to take Kingsley. Kingsleys most dangerous work is done on the lead and Smith has decent pace and is good in the air.

Gary Ablett... depends. Ozzie could be a chance if he plays. Sewell to take Chapman, same size etc.

I think we'll play three small defenders and Steve Johnson can seriously play, and once he gets some fitness up will be the most dangerous of them all IMO, Brown to take him.

Ottens.... probably Roughead (should be Roughead anyway).

Steve Johnson plays small but he is 189cm, the same size as St Kilda's "ruckman" :D

You best not forget to man up Mackie either. The roos have twice now and both times he has kicked three in the first quarter and dished a couple more off.

We have our own match up problems with no Scarlett or Harley for Williams.

Really worried about how we match up with the Cats

First - Wasnt Everitt the best ruckman in the league not long ago? May need Campbell down back this week.

Ottens 202cm / 104kg - Campbell 199cm / 107kg

Kingsley 193cm / 95kg - Smith 185cm / 87kg

Steve Johnson 189cm / 89kg - Jacobs 189cm / 96kg

Playfair 198cm / 98kg - Roughead 193cm / 98kg

Gardiner 190cm / 89kg - Birchall 192cm / 84kg

The biggest worry this weekend - Cameron Mooney 194cm / 95kg

Who do we have that can run with this guy? Could Lance Franklin (196cm / 95kg) show us his yet to be seen defensive skills and take him on? He would have to run, chase, punch and tackle hard ALL DAY.

Not too worried about the midfield matchups - Ablett, Chapman, Corey, Tenace, Bartel, Enright, Byrnes VS Mitchell, Crawford, Vandenburg, Hodge, Clarke, Bateman, Lewis.

King Vs Everitt is a fair ruck contest.

Forward line

Croad 190cm / 96kg Vs Egan 196cm / 101kg

Williams 180cm / 82kg Vs Hunt or Rooke

Dixon 188cm / 91kg Vs Milburn 189cm / 89kg

I have a feeling that Zac Dawson will be glad that he was dropped for this game. The Cats look a bit too much to handle.

Playfair is out injured and Gardiner should be dropped *fingers crossed*

Mackie/Birchall wouldn't be so bad a matchup, Mackie is soft but you just can't let him around like north did.

With Scarlett and Harley out, Mooney will have to play down back on Roughead or Franklin anyway.

Im a bit worried with the height difference is Smith does take Kingsley and I think it could get really ugly if we leave Smith on him.

With Franklin hopefully returning could we even experiment with throwing Croad down back again for match up purposes and rotate Franklin and Roughead through CHF.

With Buddy back in the side wouldn't be suprised if Roughy is thrown down back.

Its going to be tough but I still think we can win!

Dawson to Kingsley pencil it in
Croad to Ottens, with Franklin and Boyle back in wont be a problem
Brown to Chapman
Sewell to Ablett pencil it in
Smith to Johnson
Jacobs/Birchall to mackie

Guerra and Jacobs swapping as the loose man...if Ottens looks to be having an off day possibly Jacobs will cover him and Croad will go forward but thats how they will start

^that sounds preety good, I would be comfortable seeing Hawthorn line up like that. I still want Dawson to get some top forwards because it will pay off in the long run.

I would have thought Williams would be the danger for Geelong considering they don't have Scarlett.

^Williams hopefully will get a couple goals, but we really need Dixon to stay consistant his doing a great job and we need franklin and roughead to kick at least 2 each.
