Still waiting for this proof of them taking an illegal substance any who.
Well contact your club they are the only ones that know for sure.

Although Jobe admitted taking a substance that was banned/illegal when he took it, even though he got away with that one somehow, he still took an illegal substance.

Surprised that if the guilty finding were wrong that no one has sued against the verdict, yet we have seen Essendon paying off some of those involved.

For more proof check the record books that will forever document yet another Essendon smear on the competition.

I know the draft is not done yet but I don't imagine 1st year draftees are going to play much of a role in deciding where teams finish on the ladder.

I think 2018 is interesting from a wooden spoon point of view as there are a lot of candidates.

I think Brisbane, North Melbourne, Gold Coast, Carlton and even Collingwood might be contenders and if things go really badly then a team like Fremantle or even Hawthorn could find themselves much lower on the ladder than expected.

To me it is hard to go past North Melbourne s their best 22 looks really poor, with not a lot of young talent there (other than Ben Brown) and a lot of older players who either won't improve or will be in decline.

I think Brisbane, while most likely bottom 4 in 2018 will continue to improve as they have a lot of young talent in their team and Hodge should provide some stability down back.

I think Hawthorn will be fine as long as they don't get many injuries as their best 22 is solid, but there is not a lot left if they get 3 or 4 injuries.

As for Gold Coast, I actually don't think they are as bad as what they showed in 2017. I think they have plenty of talent in their best 22, and their depth isn't horrible, but they need for it to all come together

So what do you think?
Hopefully not us but North Hobart and the Bears I think everyone will assume with Collingwood and Carlton not far behind if injuries keep going.

Bulldogs look like a real show for the spoon, they appear disinterested

Saints thereabouts also, would not surprise to see them end up bottom 4

Bulldogs have a nice ish run between rounds 5-11 so I wouldn’t write them off just yet. Get a couple of wins and see the confidence and intensity rise. Of course we have to win a few of those games first but I’d back the boys in.

Luckily for WB and Saints it is only R2. Problems can be addressed. Remember Swans 2017
The Swans never looked as abysmal as the Dogs and Saints. In their run of 6 losses they never lost by more than 5 goals and their percentage remained around 75% the whole time. Four of the six played finals too.
Of course St Kilda and Footscray can turn it around, the Saints in particular can be a roller-coaster from one week to the next judging by last year. They want to hurry up though or they will find themselves mired in the bottom four.

After Friday nights showing, the Saints. I cannot for the life of me see much upside in that list. Missing Roo and Montagna is a big worry for them. For all the crap North cops for its supposed vanilla list, I’d take our crop any day of the week over theirs.

18. Fremantle
17. North
16. Brisbane
15. Collingwood
14. St Kilda
13. Carlton
12. Bulldogs
11. GC
10. Hawthorn
9. West Coast

Bulldogs probably too high. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Essendon finish bottom 6

Dogs barely functioning at the moment with a skeleton backline (losing Morris and Adams both for 3 months just before round 1) and still adjusting to the retirements of Murphy and Boyd. It will take some time before this new defensive setup functions.

No forwardline to speak of at the moment either. Redpath and Dickson should be 2 big ins for this week.

Realistically though i cant see us outside of the bottom 4 this year. Massive fall from grace.

looks like carlton collingwood or bulldogs atm

carlton will run out of steam by rd 10 so they better hope to win some games before then

Don’t worry, you have us next week, we excel at getting beat by lowly sides.

Awful call
Credit is where it is due, I ranked you guys around the 9-12 mark due to your midfield and what I thought was poor kpp depth and a makeshift defence. Happy to be proved wrong, the pies are playing a great brand of footy, very watchable.

My ratio of bad calls to good calls would be better than yours
I think you will find that since Hardwick and Buckley started coaching you and I have been positive in relation to both of our teams. The graph for each coach speaks volumes of their rebuild since they started. Buckley's graph is revealing in that up until this year - your club has been in decline. Therefore my optimism has been well placed prediction wise. My "hatred for Pies" (my God don't take it personally it is only banter) posts have until this year been on the mark. There are still a lot of games to go and it is possible both of our clubs could lose multiple games and fall in a heap. I think I know who will lose and who will win.So in summary are I think you are delusional.:p
