No its a fair question, I for one will be going down to the TAC for a few games this year with the kids.

I can imagine the AFL newbies will contain their excitement until the 2011 season starts. The AFL diehards will continue to support the team they are currently supporting. I'm an Essendon girl since birth but after 2 years without them playing anything in QLD but trial games, I've thought it's about time I got to enjoy my footy live. Plus the fact Sheeds and Hird are gone...the timing is right. I will support them until the GCFC run on the field then they'll be relegated to the rank of 'my soft spot team', I know that will offend the purests but que sera sera.

Being a longtime Carlton supporter through good times and bad and seemingly good to come only natural to follow the Mighty Blues.
Will definately be watching the GCFC very closely and will be hoping that they do well when they enter the AFL. Always room for an adopted team.
