Hmmm..... nobody. I can't since I'm not a citizen. But I DID vote for Al Gore last year. A whole lot of good that did. If only I would have lived in Florida...... LOL ;) :D

While Labour and Liberal seem to mimic eath other with respect to policy, and I can't say I'm very politically aware, I do believe things like reconciliation and a republic are more likely to occur under a Labour government than a Liberal government.

Labor....because the Howard government has done nothing for anyone under 30 since he's been in office...and he's just so out of touch with the general public, particularly young people. Not that I'm saying Labor will be much better.

It was Democrats last time but their dodgy deal with the Libs regarding the GST has lost my vote, regardless of who's their leader.

Nor should they.

People under 30 should "do" it for themselves. The Government is not a charity.

I do not vote ALP or Liberal.

I'm voting for the Greens this time

I know they are naive in alot of policy areas but I do believe the environment is now the single biggest issue confronting all people.

Can't have an economy without clean air and potable water, in fact you can't have ANYTHING without clean air and potable water.

Every other issue is merely incidental to the main game, which is to ensure we have a clean air, potable water, fertile soil, and an atomsphere that can continue to sustain life.

I realise the Greens may not be the answer (for a start they are too Left Wing !) but as the only party in Australia that puts the environment at the heart of their manifesto, at least they are a start.

TT - I thought you were Liberal all the way ?

cheers

Nope!

I have not put the Liberal Party first on a ballot paper for nine years.

I am a (social) conservative, and until the Liberal Party works out the difference between amoral (economic) liberalism and conservatism, I won't vote Liberal.

(The nature of preferential voting means that I usually get stuck with them eventually - although I get a little satisfaction putting them third last.)

Liberal..............

both are basically bast*rds, but at least the Liberals are bast*rds who understand economics. Labor will send us to the wall again, and then we'll need another Liberal government in a decade to fix up the mess.

I went with the Democrats last time only to seem Meg Lees let the GST pass through the senate without a fight. She must have been on the Liberal's payroll. I don't know whether i should trust the Democrats again...but they do have lovely Natasha at the helm!

As you say TT, i am not a fan of amoral conservatism nor liberalism in general. I wouldn't say that i am the greatest of ALP fan either!

Have to see how i feel on election day!

Where is the Natrual Law Party? :D

I can't remember if this one was in the victorian state elections, but some guy came up with a "More Beer" party, complete with the VB logo re designed to MB. He was some uni student and got a few hundred votes as well.

Labour had my vote. Big Kim will say 'sorry' on my behalf without asking me if that is what I wish. Labour no longer have my vote.

Nothing, they know 1 thing, how to screw a country and it will happen again if they get voted in.

Isn't knowledge nation a policy?

What about 95, we didn't exactly witness Howard and co. unveiling promises did we? Oh yeah that's right, they were going to fix youth unemployment and the price of petrol

Sometimes a Government need to offer leadership to their people.

Thank the stars Labor will be saying sorry (it has no 'u' by the way)

It costs us nothing yet provides so much to others.

Racism is still alive and well in this country and an apology will go some way to towards healing deep and bitter wounds.
