From each team...

Adelaide - Ben Hart
Brisbane - Luke Power
Carlton - Lance Whitnall
Collingwood - Nathan Buckley
Essendon - Matthew Lloyd
Geelong - Joel Corey
Fremantle - Anyone Left - Heath Black
Hawthorn - Trent Croad
Melbourne - Travis Johnston
Port Adelaide - Nick Stevens
Richmond - Brad Ottens
St Kilda - No. 1 draft pick
Sydney - Wayne Schwass
WCE - Ben Cousins
Western bulldogs - Brad Johnston

Ben Cousins would be the pick for our team... Lloyd would be the best player...

jeff white to replace barnsy when he finishes and to leave alessio in the forward line
andrew mcleod, need another attacking onballer
justin leppitch to allow sean wellman to play on the wing and to give dean solomon a bit of freedom on the ball

on of those three
but i think most importantly is:
dean rioli- the guy is a freak and a dead set legend, knowone really knows what he is capable of, get him fit and firing and essendon will be unstoppable

Chris Grant to take over from Wally at CHB.

Fletcher
Grant (the Rolls Royce)
Misiti
Hird
Lloyd

A spine to die for.

Give Barnesy another year or two, in '99 we had the worst ruckman in the league, now we've just about got the best.

Cheers

Ok:

Geelong: Steven King (gun)
North: Carey (even now in decline)
Haw: Croad (gun) or Barker (when fit)
Carlscum: Kouta (obviously) or Camporeale - we're already got forwards to burn so don't need the fat guy...
Melbourne: White (gun) or Green
Sainters: Max Houghton (just for his heart muscle)
WCE: Rintoul (to replace Wally as resident strong man)
Brisbane: Michael Voss (how good is this guy?)
Collingwood: You'd say FIGJAM but he's not a team player - so maybe Williams.
Adelaide: Mcleod (genius)
Port: Draft pick
Freo: Haselby, Cook or Bell
Sydney: O'Loughlin (to replace Long when he retires (sob))
Richmond: Ottens
Dogs: Grant (by a mile)

Okay...from each team:

Adelaide: Mcleod...brilliant to watch in full flight.
Brisbane: Simon Black...he will win a Brownlow one day. Edges Voss simply because he's younger.
Carlton: Camporeale...seems to glide along the wing.
Collingwood: Tarrant...the kid has great potential.
Essendon: This one is difficult...I'd take Hird due to his versatility...just ahead of Mercuri.
Freo: We'll have Peter Bell back thank you very much. Otherwise you can't go past Hasleby.
Geelong: If you could guarantee that his hamstrings won't go again, Paul Lynch. Otherwise Ben Graham.
Hawthorn: Daniel Chick running from the half-back flank is one of the best sights in footy.
Melbourne: Peter Walsh....I like watching this guy play, and besides, I've selected enough midfielders.
Port Adelaide: Everytime I see these guys, Chad Cornes seems to shine....although in North colours, we'd like to see more games than what we saw with his father.
Richmond: Leon Cameron. Always enjoyed watching him play.
St. Kilda: Max Hudghton for the same reasons as the Dutchman.
Swans: Michael O'Loughlin. Pure class.....without wanting to knock the Swans, but I'd love to see how he'd do in a much stronger side like Essendon, Melbourne, or Carlton.
Western Bulldogs: Libba. Just so we can confuse opposition fans who won't be able to decide on whether to boo him or Carey.
West Coast: David Wirrpunda. We'd need him in the reserves side since we've already got Pickett in the seniors....just kidding Eagles fans...this guy is a class act.

From each club:

Adelaide: Mcleod - proven finals performer and consistent match winner
Brisbane: Power - Great young goal kicker
Carlton : Kouta - No explanation neeeded
Collingwood : Buckley - because there is no-one else
Essendon : Anyone
Fremantle : Peter Bell!!!
Hawthorn : Croad - can play at each end
Melbourne : Green - still can't believe we passed on him 3 times.
North : Kent Kingsley, WHO???? (apparently it is a done deal already)
Port Power : Stevens
Richmond : Bowden - always been a fan, wish we had him at Geelong.
StKilda : Aussie Jones - Showed how he could play in 1997, pace and great kicking skills. Maybe a change would revitalise him.
Sydney : O'Loughlin - Freakish Skills
West Coast : Gherig, White and anyone else who wants to leave them
Western Bulldogs : Nathan Brown - someone to attack the odd EFTPOS or two.

So far the most wanted players have been:

Andrew McLeod... 6 What a brilliant player he is silky skills just a great player to watch speed to burn.
Lance Whitnall... 4 Provided he can keep his weight under control has the ability and is still only young bit of a suprise choice
Brad Ottens.... 4 Another suprise choice looks the goods as a ruckman or in a forward role a player of the future
Trent Croad.... 4 Another of the young guns can play forward or back
Buckley,Grant,Hird,Voss,O'loughlin.....3 all fairly predictable but wanted in any team
Suprise picks were Des Hedland,Chad Rintoul,Chad Cornes,Jason Saddington, Simon Black,Peter Walsh &Paul Lynch good players but not brilliant

Shinboners!
I should think you were only kidding!!!! My opinion is that Wirrpunda is the best player going around at the moment....only we have only got to see a bit of it coz of injury....i am so surprised that others havent already mentioned his name!! He is very good, and I mean VERY good...just wait and see. Im just worried that one day he will leave the eagles coz he says he misses his family alot

BJ

That is hard but I would take Trent Croad because we need a quality defender and he can go up foward too so that would be good. A smaller foward type ala Blake Caracella would also be handy.

Julia

That gagging sound is Caracella vomiting thinking about ever going to Carlscum

There goes Hammill Julia hahahahahahahahaha

From each club
Adelaide- Mcleod- magnificent player, beautiful to watch
Brisbane- Black ahead of Voss because of the age & injuries but gee Voss is a champion
Carlton - A few great choices available
- Kouta- maybe the best 10 weeks from a player ever,Camporeale- very good ball carrier top player, Ratten magnificent competitor, Allan - the best ruckman around now, Whitnall - so smart
Give me Ratten as he is a favourite
Collingwood- Buckley
Essendon- Hird just has to be
Freo- Hasleby
Geelong- Graham
Hawthorn- Holland
Roos- Has to be Carey the best player I have seen
Melbourne- Yze - love to watch those long left foot goals, Green so good for his age,
agree with Shinboners about Walsh too there is something about the way he plays I just love.
Port- Tredrea- got to deliver though
Richmond- Difficult go with Ottens
St Kilda- Has to be Harvey a no ego champion remeber his Brownlow speach re Chris Grant
Sydney- O'Loughlin just great to watch
West Coast- Wirrpunda - honourable mention to Peter Matera in his day great to watch him go
Doggies - Johnson - goes to key forward at his size & gets it done! Outstanding
Honourable mentions to Grant & West(fear he & Ratten would collide to often at hard ball situationa & would kill each other going for the ball.
