Whatever makes you happy I guess. But I would suggest to you to see how long you can go without posting about Collingwood. It may seem like an insurmountable challenge at the moment, but you may be surprised what you can achieve with a bit of willpower.

You shouldn’t let what I post about consume your life. Seems as though you’re way too invested into what I do - that you’ve gone out of your way to concern yourself with it. Thanks, I guess.

Fremantle 2015 getting a raw deal in this thread. The Big Footy crowd are showing their ignorance as usual.

The Dockers were going great guns prior to Nat Fyfe slowing down with the stress fracture in his leg and Luke McPharlin (the AFL's best defender) succumbing to an injury. They had All Australians Michael Johnson and Haydn Ballantyne both sidelined with injuries, but they were 3 wins clear on top of the ladder after round 19

1. Fremantle_ 16-2, 128.8
2. West Coast 13-4-1,149.5
3. Hawthorn_ 13-5, 161.5
4. W.Bulldogs 12-6, 117.1
5. Sydney___ 12-6, 112.4
6. North Melb 11-7, 109.0
7. Richmond_ 11-7, 108.9
8. Geelong__ 10-7-1,104.6

Things went pear-shaped after that. Four losses in their last six games tarnished their great season. But their best players were all f**kin injured. What team wouldn't struggle under those circumstances? How would Richmond have fared last year if Dusty and Rance were both crippled and they also lost Grimes and Edwards for the year?

Let's not forget, the Dockers weren't just some lightweight flash-in-the-pan. They went awfully close to winning the 2013 flag and were Top 4 regulars in Ross Lyon's first few years.

2015 Freo 1st: 17-5, 118.7 _[finals: W-L]
2014 Freo 4th: 16-6, 130.4 _[finals: LL]
2013 Freo 3rd: 16-5-1, 134.1 [finals: W-WL]
2012 Freo 7th: 14-8, 115.7 _[finals: WL]

As a Freo fan, I can probably say that Freo 2015 should be up there. The first 9 games we were as good as any team, but the last 7 or 8 games of that year we were very ordinary indeed. In saying that, we could have easily jagged the flag in 15 with a bit of luck and it all went the other way. But irrespective of that we weren't as well rounded a team as Hawthorn were and got exposed when it mattered.

Fremantle 2015 easily.

The side was hopelessly out of form going into the finals, with even its wins in the run home unconvincing. They beat the equally out of form Sydney Swans (which would exit the finals in straight sets) in the Qualifying Final in Perth, but the 9 point win in wet and windy conditions was one of the worst standard finals seen in many years. The Dockers were sitting ducks for Hawthorn in the Preliminary Final, which made Fremantle look stupid as they swept into the Grand Final, using the momentum generated from this game to thrash West Coast the following week.

Port did the same in 2002 and 2003,
Did I imagine them winning the 2004 flag?

Bit harsh on Freo. Port 2003 were a bigger disappointment.
Thread isn’t about the biggest disappointment, it’s about the weakest minor premier.

2003 Port were a class above 2015 Freo.

Freo but on aggregate Richmond probably wins by having the 2nd weakest premiership side (behind the dogs) and 3rd weakest minor premiership side

I can't believe 2 people voted Geelong 2008 the weakest minor premier. It can only be that the 2 people think this poll and thread is bulltish
Perhaps the weakest mentally.

That team had something like 17 players who were All-Australians at some stage.

4 wins and 30% clear in first place and choked on the biggest stage.

Didn't just lose the Grand Final, but got soundly whipped by a young Hawthorn team with little-to-no finals experience

18 goals to 11

Richmond 2018 would go pretty close, to be 2 games ahead before the final in a league that has diminished in quality since expansion and still couldn't make the Grand final.

Weakest mentally??? You have to be joking. That same side won 3 premierships in 5 years and after that Grand final loss beat Hawthorn 11 times in a row. Also it was hardly a whipping the margin was 4 goals and the deliberate rush behind tactics in that game from the Hawks actually forced a rule change the following season it was actually quite a farce.

Zac Dawson was your team's best defender of that era, and he played in all the finals series.
