I can't believe 2 people voted Geelong 2008 the weakest minor premier. It can only be that the 2 people think this poll and thread is bulltish

Adelaide 17 won less games but that season was very close, they still felt like the best team for basically the whole year.

You shouldn’t let what I post about consume your life. Seems as though you’re way too invested into what I do - that you’ve gone out of your way to concern yourself with it. Thanks, I guess.Whatever makes you happy I guess. But I would suggest to you to see how long you can go without posting about Collingwood. It may seem like an insurmountable challenge at the moment, but you may be surprised what you can achieve with a bit of willpower.
Very costly loss in the last round to West CoastI thought Adelaide in 2016 were better than 2017 and they finished 5th. It sucks!
Fremantle 2015 getting a raw deal in this thread. The Big Footy crowd are showing their ignorance as usual.
The Dockers were going great guns prior to Nat Fyfe slowing down with the stress fracture in his leg and Luke McPharlin (the AFL's best defender) succumbing to an injury. They had All Australians Michael Johnson and Haydn Ballantyne both sidelined with injuries, but they were 3 wins clear on top of the ladder after round 19
1. Fremantle_ 16-2, 128.8
2. West Coast 13-4-1,149.5
3. Hawthorn_ 13-5, 161.5
4. W.Bulldogs 12-6, 117.1
5. Sydney___ 12-6, 112.4
6. North Melb 11-7, 109.0
7. Richmond_ 11-7, 108.9
8. Geelong__ 10-7-1,104.6
Things went pear-shaped after that. Four losses in their six games tarnished their great season. But their best players were all f**kin injured. What team wouldn't struggle under those circumstances? How would Richmond have fared if Dusty and Rance were both crippled and they also lost Grimes and Edwards for the year?
Let's not forget, that Freo team wasn't just some lightweight flash-in-the-pan. They went awfully close to winning the 2013 flag and were Top 4 regulars in those early Ross Lyon years
2015 Freo 1st: 17-5, 118.7 _[finals: W-L]
2014 Freo 4th: 16-6, 130.4 _[finals: LL]
2013 Freo 3rd: 16-5-1, 134.1 [finals: W-WL]
2012 Freo 7th: 14-8, 115.7 _[finals: WL]
Voted for Adelaide 2005 as they are the only one in this list not to even play in a GF during the same era as being minor prems. Even Freo 2015 managed that.
Did I imagine them winning the 2004 flag?Port did the same in 2002 and 2003,
Thread isn’t about the biggest disappointment, it’s about the weakest minor premier.Bit harsh on Freo. Port 2003 were a bigger disappointment.

2003 Port were a class above 2015 Freo.
I did read the post.May pay to Read the post I was questioning
Which do you? Add something to the OP other than some random question. We often talk about strongest premiership sides and weakest premiership sides - but a topic seldom discussed is the strength of the minor premiership sides.
Which minor premier do you rate as the weakest and why?
Guess we both read it differently, I took it as the only team to make minor premiers and not play the grand final. when it happened 3 times.I did read the post.
How long has 2004 not been in the same era as 2002-2003?
Perhaps the weakest mentally.I can't believe 2 people voted Geelong 2008 the weakest minor premier. It can only be that the 2 people think this poll and thread is bulltish
Perhaps the weakest mentally.
That team had something like 17 players who were All-Australians at some stage.
4 wins and 30% clear in first place and choked on the biggest stage.
Didn't just lose the Grand Final, but got soundly whipped by a young Hawthorn team with little-to-no finals experience
18 goals to 11
Zac Dawson was your team's best defender of that era, and he played in all the finals series.
