Who's Essendons most promosing player from the '06 draft.

We have absolutely gunned the last 2 drafts. All the 2006 draftees look like being long term players and Ryder and Dempsey from 2005 both have potential to be stars. If we can pick up a gun onballer and a decent key defender this draft we will be set for the next 10 years.

I cannot wait for these kids to come good. Will shut the mouth's (sp?) of other supporters saying we have no future. Davey has already proven himself, hopefully he doesn't burn himself out; he tries so damn hard!

Essendon are not a tanking team, and Carlton is a tanking team, yet I find it extremely humorous that Essendon had a better draft than Carlton in 2006. Tell me if I’m wrong, but seriously, which group of players would you rather have? Is that even a question?

The bottom say 5 names on their list would mean the same to us, as what the bottom 5 names on our list means to them.

Everyone rates their own young talent, Essendon supporters perhaps even a little too highly at times.

Far too early to make a judgement on Carltons lesser draft picks. Agree with this response above. For all we know half of these guys probably didn't play all year with injuries.

On what was showed in the '07 season, the Bombers win hands down however careers aren't constructed of a debut season alone.
