Who's in the Draft?

In the off season a main topic of discussion is the various drafts. I know thae WCE has one main pick and four rookies to choose but I can't find anywhere on the AFL website who has nominated. Does anyone know the lists?

not participating-richmond{AGAIN GRRRRRR},western bulludogs,carlton.

not sure-north,essendon,brisbane.

THE AFL wishes to advise the selection order for the 2000 Coca-Cola AFL Pre-Season Draft, to be held tomorrow, Tuesday December 18.

It is as follows:

Round One

1 St Kilda

2 Collingwood

3 West Coast

4 Fremantle

5 Adelaide

6 Sydney

7 Western Bulldogs

8 Hawthorn

9 Brisbane Lions

10 Melbourne

Round Two

11 St Kilda

12 Adelaide

It's the players who have nominated for each draft that I want to know.

Also, what are the criteria for entering the rookie draft. I assume age! I assume they can't have played AFL previously. Anyone know?

Frodo,

Anyone that nominated for the national draft and was not selected is automatically eligible for the pre-season draft.

There were only 5 players that did not nominate for the national draft that have since nominated:- Brett Voss (our first pick), Chris Ladhams, Tim Van Der Klooster, Balraj Singh and one more whose name escapes me.

Anyone under the age of 23 is eligible to be selected as a rookie, whether they have played senior football or not. I think the rules are that each club is entitled to a combination of 6 players - rookies and veterans. No more than 2 veterans can be listed. For example, having 1 player listed on the veterans list would give a club an opportunity to select 5 rookies.
