Chesser or Wilmot for mine. I’m not as keen on JVR as some, feel like he lacks a point of difference athletically and is a bit undersized. Sonsie is a smallish inconsistent one-way runner, Taylor looks great but is pretty similar to what we already have. Don’t think Goater or Sinn are a chance to get there, but maybe Arlo Draper slides?

Can definitely see us trading 20 and 48 for 2 picks in between. In that case, Motlop and Alleer would be a great combo.

Chesser is my favourite for our 2nd followed by Wilmot. Knevitt ahead of Draper for 3rd. Don't think Goater is a chance to be there.

Not big on JVR or Bazzo unless we trade down and get a 2nd back next year.

Based on Twomey's last few interviews, Chesser seems a genuine chance to be there at the start of the second round. Wilmot is looking more unlikely, he seems like he's going to go in the 15-20 range, Brisbane have two picks in that range and need some half backs like us. We are likely to get who they don't take, then it depends if Freo take JVR the pick before.

Chesser is a big, imposing kid as a half back. Certainly a different type to Wilmot, Chesser scopes to be a Hibberd/Birchall style, 6"2, 90kg+ half back at AFL level.
