It's definitely Rance. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have won at least 5 of our games this season. He's the one who consistently puts in elite, game-changing performances. The others might play consistently well, but in terms of absolute game-changing performances, they would do it only every few weeks at best. Rance is basically doing it week in and week out.

Pines are pythons I think, Aaron Edwards doing damage for them this season.

Shane Edwards...creates scoring opportunities every time he gets the ball. Gets under the guard of the other teams and is almost impossible to match up. His best work is so slick that it often escapes notice. Check his pick up and give for our last goal against the swans last week- but don't blink or you'll miss it...not too many players do this, no matter who they play for...then just to follow up...check his two goals yesterday

The clowns on On The Couch and most of the rest of the media have no more insight than the average serious fan. Richmond's playing shit, so we have no A graders. We string some wins together and 2 months later we have the best defender in the league, Riewoldt has apparently stepped up two levels, Cotchin is a great captain, etc, etc.

As to the thread topic, I couldn't choose between Rance, Jack, Lids, Cotch and Martin. Edwards also close to figuring in that group.

Toss up between Riewoldt and Rance for me. I went Riewoldt because I think gun forwards are more valuable and imagine our forward line without him :O

Cotchin, Martin and Deledio are a step below imo. Our midfield gets beaten a bit and sometimes these blokes go missing. Not as consistent as Riewoldt or Rance.

Agree but you know what, with Jack, I don't reckon he has missed a target with his field kicking.
In fact, if he has the ball in his hands we always end up with a shot on goal.

I like how it looks like he moves slowly but being a pure footballer he absolutely understands how much time he has and who is around him...

I'd actually suggest Riewoldt is our best player right now, player ratings suggest the same
