So they already have 2 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks and 2 3rd round picks and that’s before Lynch walks out the door. Wowee. Half the draft class will go to GC.

And leave two or three years later....

A few here had major gripes with Devon Smith's tackling when suggested we look at him. Based on stats this year he would be a decent inclusion.

He was contracted for another two years. They'd have gladly kept him. I'd think you're calling it a tad early mate. It will take at least another two years to know if we got gyped.
Not calling anything mate, just stating the fact that they gladly traded him after he went cold on the whole
resigning and went home. The deal was done in the last seconds of the trade period and they should have
demanded a captain and a first round pick at the very least given our history.

Strictly from the point of view of landing who they said they were going after, Essendon's trade period was perfect.

They just should have said they were going after Fyfe, Dangerfield and someone who fits the no di*khead policy.

It highlights the shallowness of AFL media types.

Did they get who they said they were after ? Yes, give them an A plus.

Should they be after those players ? Don't ask us hard questions...

Not for the pick Essendon sent to them. Yes they got some picks back but giving up our top ten pick you want an A grader not just a very good role player.
