I love to see a glass half full personality.

Promising young players my arse.

Hard to think of a single game in the entire 2017 season Hawthorn wins without Hodge or Burgoyne carrying them over the line. Which goes a long way to explain why they couldn't beat anyone at all in the first half when Hodge was enjoying a pre retirement gap year. Too much dead weight for Burgoyne to carry alone.

Give the filthy sniper credit where due, he pulled his finger out in the second half.

Hodge gone, and Burgoyne another year older.

All you've got left is a 35 year old midfielder and a bunch of badly exposed pretenders. You guys are rooted.
The only guy that did any significant amount of carrying was the 24 year old Tom Mitchell. He was duly rewarded with the most prestigious best and fairest award in the competition, the Peter Crimmins Medal

You are a really funny guy, you know that?

Truth is, the more of the football Crabshell gets, the less likely Hawthorn are to win.

Not to mention 24 year old "youf". Very Hawthorn.

Did you know that the average AFL career is just on five years?

Which means a 24 year old is not "promising youth". He is past normal retirement age. Which when we are talking about a bloke who is getting a lot of the footy and the opposition simply don't care, underlines how dismal Hawthorn's future is.

Your anointed best player identified by opposition coaches as irrelevant. Oooh that's bad.

So that’s why Carlton likes to trade out elite forwards, 24 is too old for a brown-paper-bagger. Good luck with that.

Anyway, I didn’t say he was youf. I said he carried the side, yet is not close to retirement. Our superiour fitness team get players playing well right into their mid-30s. Players at hawthorn aren’t treated like unsold Happy Meals

You dumb campaigner.

Lamb is a journeyman at best. That's the take away lesson from his handing your self acclaimed next generation tough guy his arse on a plate.
Hey calm down Fos, maybe have another shandy with Barbara!

I like how you are making a big deal about Jimmy Sicily having a bad game. Lamb owned him mentally that night, it probably saved his career.

So you think he is better than Ryan Burton do you?
Burton goes OK. With Luke Hodge standing next to him and holding his dick.

Having to position himself and make his own decisions? Not so much.
Well that is an interesting observation, tell me do you have difficulty differentiating shite from clay?
Are you Laflogs alias, Burton is going to be a star.
Can I get a flogstradamus badge for posting within a thread?

Poll is missing a few options.....

Essendon* vs ASADA
Carlton vs Purana Task Force
Norf vs Their Bank Manager
Collingwood vs Victorian Dental Association
Geelong vs Anti-Intermarriage Legislation
Freo vs Success
Carlton vs Purana task force.

I think the only person still alive in that whole Melbourne gang war is Mick Gatto
