Why all this hatred between Adelaide and Eagles recently?

Why have there been so many Crows fans posting on our board and trolling and whining about Stenglien and etc.

I assume it all started with Stenglien apparently coming to the eagles, but why so much hatred? Why can't we all just get along?

and to just clear a few things up, Eagles made the finals this year with 13 wins whereas Adelaide didn't with only 8 wins.
No excuses.

its not too serious, just supporters stating what they think a certain player is worth. its what makes this time of year so enjoyable, unless it goes too far.

mind you afew of the adelaide crew are pretty highly strung.

I think the Crows fans are generally one of the better groups of supporters on bigfooty but as with all teams they have a few aggressive people that prefer slanging matches to talking footy, not that some Eagles fans aren't guilty of the same thing recently.

They're also obviously hurting that an obvious fan favourite has signaled his intention to leave the club, therefore taking out some of the anger on the supporters of the team most likely to be his new home.

There have been many crows fans how have said silly things like;
West Coast suck because they lost by 100 points to saints, and didn't win a final etc.

I don't want to have an argument I just wanted to stop crows fans from saying stupid things like that by just stating the facts.

because both our seasons are over and it gives us something to talk about.

we don't care that much that stinga is going - I suspect he might stay in the end - we feel frustrated by some of the silly statements of the odd supporter who says you don't want the guy. which is plainly not the case.

there is the odd supporter who feels you are automatically 'premiers elect', as a general rule we think you're getting ahead of yourself.

that's it, but I don't think anyone should take it too seriously. One thing it has done for us, is identify the idiots amongst you and who are the sensible posters. I imagine you feel it's done the same for you.

most is just light and harmless banter between two clubs who have been out of action for a couple of weeks. Given us all something to talk about. The funny thing is, after all the treads dedicated to the topic of the Stenglien trade, and all the debate that's gone on, ATM, it doesn't even look like a trade will go ahead!

Some posters have gotten a bit personal with their comments, but apart from those it's harmless. As JuJu said, the crows supporters are one of the better groups on bigfooty. It's been entertaining.

Shouldn't be a problem after Riccuito retires. Not much chance they will get to play soft finals against teams like the Western Bulldogs again either.

i like adelaide supporters, and the adelaide team. i prefer them to do well after almost any other team besides my own. i totally respect them as a team, an organisation and as a group of supporters.

Its probably the first time ever the two teams have been at odds other than your normal home and away and the two finals.

Its all in good fun. I think we are all waiting to see what happens at the end of the day.

Our Clubs are similar in lots of ways and I think both lots of fans are pretty good in general.

We do have some knobs on our board though, but what can you do.

Some people just get carried away at times. I think as soon as you stop talking logic and start with the insults you have lost the argument.

West Coast and Adelaide are similiar clubs, both being the first AFL teams in their respective state,having the lion share of supporters in their state as well as being the more weathier clubs in the league. Also both have two flags to their names. Although at this stage you guys look a much better chance of winning a third than we do (but you better win one before Judd heads home).

Some people have gotten carried away with the Stinger situation but at the end of the day it does not matter what we think is fair or not a fair trade as we don't make the decisions.

Good luck to the Eagles next season, except for rounds 1 and 22.

Just hope my Eagles (Woodville West Torrens) win the SANFL GF this Sunday. Go you Eagles!!!

I don't think that's very fair since we have been bundled out in the firkst round 3 years in a row.
