Chris Groom,remember him? Freo took him and let Adelaide waltz off with Andy McLeod. He kicked 2 goals with his first two kicks and 4 in his first game and disappeared from view after a year.

Nothing too much. Just a couple of premierships, 2 MVP's, few b&f's and a norm smith. Credentials don't even compare to those of that household name K-Mac. I'd much prefer him than that guy Carey.

Nah I don't really care anymore because I know the Kangaroos aren't going to read this site. Personally I think Carey will be an absolute gun for us next year considering he came to the club a few weeks back and is the 3rd fittest player at the club. He's never going to lose his skill and brilliance so all he lacks now is match fitness which will be taken care of. If I'm lifting his proce fine. If North are reading this site, well good luck to them. Anyway I don't really agree with everyone who is saying he is a hasbeen etc etc. as you can just look at his pre-season form from this year to see how good his year was going to be.
Daniel Metropolis kicked five goals in his first game...
And isn't he an absolute superstar now..

Kieren McGuiness ... yes, I've seen him play. Not in the seniors, but I saw him in the Under 18 championships, I think it was last year.
He's got a lot of promise, he's tall, takes a good grab and can kick long and straight which is a skill that seems to elude a lot of players these days. Left footer I think.
I believe we will hear a lot more of him in 2003.
