Why did the Bulldogs get 6 Friday/Thursday night games this year?

Premiers one season removed, expected resurgence in form, people enjoyed their 2016 style of football.. not that surprising they were given more Friday night games than some othe rclubs. Seven is a bit OTT though.

The AFL took a punt on the team who won the 2016 flag would get back to form. They were obviously wrong. But the AFL have been wrong on giving marquee games to Collingwood over the last 8 years as well.

Wc, Sydney, Port and one of GWS/Adelaide will make the 8. Half the teams in top 8 non Vic and they represent probably 25% of TNF and FNF

We weren't good enough, end of. The year following our prelim finals we got enough.
