i actually don't.
I like the big clubs. They make the comp strong, and it's great having battles with them
Hawthorn, Carlton, Collingwood. I'd rather see them up than the saints or north.

ill show myself out :(

For all reasons previously mentioned and then some but most of all, it's that ****ing obnoxious song - "Da, da, da, da, da..." and on it goes.

I don't really know where to begin, but here we go...

Carlton, this is an organisation that is so dishonest and inhumane, its hard to find anything worse since the Nazi Party of Germany circa 1939 to compare them to. Everything they have done in our pure Australian game has been to the detriment of fairness and equality.

Whilst almost every other club raise their own champions and build a proud culture, Carlton, like thieves in the night have stolen and pillaged every single one of "their" successes. Names like; Barassi, Williams and Judd are but a few who were bought from the teams that made them who they were. Unfortunately these once proud men, became corrupted, bought with dirty cash, they turned their backs on their own families. How Barassi looked Norm Smith in the eye ever again will remain a mystery to me. This is the same Norm Smith who took Barassi into his home after his father died fighting at Gallipoli, taught him everything he knew about football, and then Ron spat right in his face, he traded his soul for a few dollars. Pathetic.

You'd think that pinching players from their own league would be enough, but no, sadly Carlton also had to rape the other States leagues for their talent as well, not only damaging interstate footballing relations, but breaking up families was one of Carlton's specialities. I do wonder how Craig Bradley's mother felt as he came home and said 'Yeah, thanks for providing me with a home and love and all that other stuff, but you should see the car full of cash this mob called Carlton rolled up to me with at training this arvo, sure there was blood and this white powder everywhere and the "president" said I'm not allowed to deposit it in any banks or nothing, but this seems legit, I'm outta here." Not good I'm guessing.

Whilst they have stolen nearly every famous name at Carlton, they have had other players running amongst the stars, handing them the ball, holding down women, fetching drinks, providing alibi's. These are individuals who their followers would classify as "Superstars" names like; Lance 'Even my own family thinks I'm rubbish' Whitnall, Scott 'What's a hardball get?' Camporeale, John 'Serial Number 26518' Nicholls, 'Honest' Wayne Harmes, Bruce 'see that man on the bench timmy, don't go near him' Doull. These men, imitating potatoes, are lauded as greats of the games. If you think for one second that any of your clubs players can match these "gentlemen" in any facet of the game, then according to the citizens of Princes Park, you have no idea about football.

Alas my friends, although the aforementioned actions might make your stomach feel slightly queasy, the following may make you empty its contents onto your keyboards.

Behind every criminal organisation, even Carlton, is a network of drones. In some industries they are the consumer, others the cliental, in this situation they are the follower.

Carlton supporters, almost a new thread in itself, are the most deluded individuals on the planet. You'll the Satan kiss the Pope before you see a Carlton supporter talk any kind of sense. These foul mouthed, bad tempered, unwashed and uneducated cretins usually hail from the bottom end of societies scrapheap. Ever wondered who spraypaints meaningless drivel on nearly every flat surface of this city? Ever wondered who scratched your car in the carpark and didn't leave any information behind? Ever wondered who spiked your female friends drink at the club that one time? Ever wonder who Josef Fritzl would have barracked for? Hitler? Pol Pot? Stalin? Rebecca Black? The answer my brothers is Carlton.

It's almost as if supporting them infects them in some way, I'm sure scientists must be working on a cure, and turns their brain function into reverse, where a normal person might think about the consequences to those around them, or even think about what their actions might reflect upon those they care about. Carlton Supporters seem to only care about two things, themselves and money, more importantly how to use those around them to bring those two items together.

Even the name; "Carlton", it hits the ear like the sound of clawhammer in a blender. Faces distort upon hearing it and anger and hatred flair into peoples eyes. I personally say it like a curseword, akin to another C-word, I would never say either in front of my Grandmother, the look on her face would crush me.

To be honest I think the only solution to Carlton is extermination. I'd like to think that one day Children will be born that will have never known what Carlton were. I think it is our duty to fight them in every capacity we have. More importantly I think it's our destiny to defeat them, not just next weekend, but forever. We have to take a stand, we must crush Carlton, not just to advance ourselves, but for everyone who loves football and admires courage and integrity.

Long Live the Essendon Football Club

My thoughts haven't changed on this despicable disgrace of a football club one iota. If anything time has only hardened an already seething hatred.

Stupid fans always gets me

Jamison v Hurley – Jamison is coming off a forgettable performance against Josh Kennedy. Hurley found plenty of the ball against the Swans, but did not trouble the scorers at all. Hurley has not shown himself himself to be a prolific goalkicker, but can be quite creative.

Didn't score a goal because he was in defence maybe?

Yeah, you don't take anything said by that poster about Essendon seriously, just quietly. Utterly blinded by hatred.
And a distinct lack of logic.

Being that Hurley has hardly played forward since the end of 2013.

My grandfather was a staunch Carlton supporter and took his kids to princess park in 1962 to watch them play the Bombers.

The Bombers reemed the Blue Boys and went on to win the flag, so all the children promptly switched to EFC for the brilliance but truth be told, in part to spite the old bastard.

It has continued for generations, all his grandchildren and great grandchildren are all bomber supporters and despise the Carlton scum.

I'm sorry, but my hatred of them runs deeper than yours. I was there in 1968. My hatred of them is now in its 47th year and shows no sign of subsiding. Umpire Jeff Crouch admitted on his death bed that he should have paid the push in the back in the goal square to Geoff Blethyn. We promptly lost the game by 3 points. 25 years later almost to the day, I had tears in my eyes and got drunk for a week.

Carlton is f***ing evil. Never forgive - never forget. They suck the farts out of dead seagull's arses and their supporters are sea hunts.

Oh boy, I wish I hadn't seen this. I didn't want to remember my rage. Ah **** it! Carlton as an entity piss me off so its ranting time. I may not be as well-rounded in the experience of being an Essendon fan (it's only been a few years) but they annoy me the most.

The hatred of Carlton starts small of course like any other disease. I start following Essendon and learn from its histories of its rivals such as Collingwood and Carlton and after the Doggies and the Swans I was eager to see history play itself out on my inaugural season as a fan. 2011 round 3 and it's a goddamn draw from Zaharakis' missed goal. I wasn't too knackered considering this season had quite a few draws already at the start and it was awesome to watch such a close contest. I always thought Essendon were the better team though given the highlights of that match. Onwards to the next meeting and we get bloody smashed with an amazing mark on top of it to ease the loss. It sucked, but finals were looming and Essendon were still a chance. Then we get there and I'm psyched as all hell. First year and finals against Carlton with absolute huge stakes and I've had friends tell me that we were a dark horse entering this match. I pull the couch near the TV and glue my eyes to the screen...to watch utter horror. Carlton advance through and leave Essendon a destroyed husk of a team and it was definitely no 1999 from what I keep reading from you guys but goddamn it it was MY 1999. Those assholes almost ruined that finals season for me and the worst part of it all was that they were actually good because they were led by a competent coach in Ratten.

Then the wretched bombshell rears its ugly head within this club's quarters in 2013 and all eyes are on Essendon. This was the year that solidified my support for this club and pretty much made me a member. Huge games heralded for heads to roll but all for naught as the Bombers triumphed, it was a theme that ran through 2013 and it was such defiance that got me really going. Carlton again with a new yet old pasty face in Malthouse come about again, being a real prick of a man that yells at clouds and butts in with opinionated accusations against Essendon and Hird, of course a flog like this would lead this kind of club. Round 11, first Carlton match I attended and glad I did. Carlisle with a time-stopping mark that essentially saved the game along with Melksham's heroics. A small dose of humble pie for the detractors. Then again in Round 22 with even bigger circumstances at play and Carlton return only for Malthouse's demons to haunt him again with Zaharakis kicking the winning goal, an even sweeter win than the last to say that this club still had a pulse. At least, that's what I thought. Then the dreadful news came and Essendon were kicked out of the finals and an insipid Carlton replace our spot and win against a hopeless Richmond. It was a disgrace. They didn't earn anything yet they waste everyone's time including their own going into finals only for pretty much half of their list to develop into a pile of poop.

It was good smashing them the year after that and the draw that resulted in the final round of that season was a humorous end that gave their fans hope that they still had heart despite it dwarfing ours by tenfold. Judd's a hypocritical campaigner that thinks he can eye gouge, chicken wing, and get VISY paid his way into the hall of fame without an inch of guilt - yet Jobe Watson's apparently an irredeemable drug cheat that pales in comparison despite amazing inspirations from his conduct. Such is the recycled garbage of a former champion from the Eagles though that gets paid the big bucks to wow a crowd for half a game and babysit his soft captain before returning to his actual form - ordinary.

Oh and their fans are mostly campaigners from what I've met and can't really let the past transgressions of ASADA go because of how shit their club is, and they have no attractive birds either. That about covers it.

**** Carlton.

Why did you just start following? From interstate or overseas?

Neither. Just wasn't really a sports kind of guy until the 2010 GF and certain friends getting in my ear about this whole AFL thing. Wouldn't have thought I'd be this invested but it's been fun to connect with like-minded people :)
