I feel your hate, glory days on the only stage that counts, Grand Final day....
The last time Carlscum beat the Mighty Bombers in a Granny was 1968 and we were fricken robbed, should have been a free kick in the dying minute that was overlooked, it all started then for finding a way to hate the club that has been our bitch since 1981..

99 prelim means little because they choked the next week, managed to grow a leg to play us but crumble to North by 6 goals, how the **** can you be happy about that..You don't hear Pie fans gloating about prelims unless the won the granny as well...Silvertails=Siver medals..

through the 90s my hatred for carlton was at its peak - and mainly because of one man..... Greg Williams.

Has there ever been a man playing football with more t*rd like qualities?

He encapsulates whats bad about Carlton.....A mercanary, a smug... little rat.

Some of my happier days were seeing him on the recieving end of things.

I'll never forget seeing Mark Harvey clean him up at the 'g' when he was totally unaware, It was the best shirt front i had seen in years, it left williams on the ground for about a minute, just sitting on his arse holding his nose with little sparrows flying round his head.

I recall in the first final of 93 he gave away a 100 metre penalty at a cruical time of the game. It put Michael Symons dead infront 30 meters out who went on to miss and arguably cost us that final. (the first ever final played at night) but we know how that story ended.

Who could forget his ongoing battle with Sean Denham. He smashed Denhams nose on GF day, but Sean had the last laugh.....

The best was when they were niggling all day and Williams pushed an umpire to try and get to him. Bad move Williams...... But just like you to push an umpire - cretin. You deserved all the weeks you got.

Another great day..when Wanga won the brownlow and instead of being congratuatory as all should be toward a brownlow winner...he winged and moaned that he didnt get a vote after a 40+ possession game. Newsflash....40 handballs wont get you much, plus if you give umpires crap all day thay aint gunna like you....

He was always good for a sneaky elbow in the face or ribs but anytime sombody got him he would be straight at the umpire winging for a free...

Carlton and greg Williams...the perfect fit.

Another great day..when Wanga won the brownlow and instead of being congratuatory as all should be toward a brownlow winner...he winged and moaned that he didnt get a vote after a 40+ possession game. Newsflash....40 handballs wont get you much, plus if you give umpires crap all day thay aint gunna like you....

Yet he will happily gloat that he won his first Brownlow after belting someone in the final round then getting off due to the then existant player code of the victim denying anything untoward happened. No suspension = Brownlow for Williams.

Even if he was BOG in the 40 possession game, it is karma coming back to bite him given his 1st Brownlow was tainted.

I watched Open Mike when Sheahan interviewed Williams and the smug little w***er does not have a clue about what a hypocritical arseh*le he is.

Denham was a good ordinary player, but my man love for him is immense given what he did to Williams every time they squared up.

Let me tell you a little story that I think speaks a great deal about Carlton.

I know a Carlton supporter that isn't even a member of that club, but if you bag his club he becomes all sooky and gets upset for he cannot handle a little banter.

Example one day we were travelling past Princes Park and I remarked

"So thats were the scum live"

He actually got so upset that he nearly started crying

Yet for all his so called love of that scum, he cannot be bothered taking out a membership yet he is on a very good income

Maybe Carlton could get all of Dick's mistresses together and they could form the new recruiting panel.

Jeanne could chair the panel, his double life 18 year mistress Shari-Lea Hitchcock could help out, and perhaps Maison Ashton aka Marty Hislop the prostitute from the Miss Fleiss escort agency with whome sneaky Dicky had a long term relationship with (behind the back of Jeanne and Shari-Lea...and of course the children he had to both women) could put forward a few ideas too.

Glad to see such quality people running Carlton over the years....standards are high at that place.
