I haven't been able to find anything either but to give a bit more info.

The board suspected that Beverley Knight was the one who was leaking the information. The board made a bogus story and I think nearly everyone but Knight knew it was made up. She told Caro the info she was given who then wrote a story about it. Knight was disposed and Caro had to write some sort of retraction or admit her information was incorrect if I remember correctly.

The leaked story was about EFC wearing a special guernsey for a game. The board suspecting that Knight was leaking information gave her incorrect nformation. Board told Knight that the event was occurring in round 12. Caro wrote an exclusive story about this event. The actual event occurred in round 18.

The reasons for Knight's departure remain unclear. She could not be contacted for comment in recent days but she is not the only director leaving the board which is to undergo a restructure at the end of the season.

Caro is just using the paper to push her own personal agendas.

Because she hates them too. She is just a miserable person thats probably never written a positive article about anything ever. Takes a very bitter type to constantly criticise people who mostly are just trying to their best. Same goes with Patrick Smith.

He then went on to be an insightful journalist and successful businessman. Then when the club, which by no coincidence is the most successful in the competition along with the equally ruthless Carlton, decided that they were heading down a path of mediocrity under a man from Caro's club of mediocrity, they ruthlessly and powerfully intervened, and Hird was the face of the build to a successful Essendon Football Club. He led a ruthlessly and effectively assembled coaching team consisting of the very best assistant coaches, largely Essendon people. The club is clearly heading in the right direction.
