Took a great mark, yes, but clearly kneed Noah Ainsworth in the back of the head causing concussion.

A Player’s conduct will be regarded as Careless where his conduct is not intentional, but constitutes a breach of the duty of care owed by the Player to all other Players. Each Player owes a duty of care to all other Players, Umpires and other persons (as applicable) not to engage in conduct which will constitute a Reportable Offence being committed against that other Player, Umpire or other person. In order to constitute such a breach of that duty of care, the conduct must be such that a reasonable Player would not regard it as prudent in all the circumstances. Further, a Player will be careless if they breach their duty to take reasonable care to avoid acts which can be reasonably foreseen to result in a Reportable Offence.

By lifting his knee to make contact to the back of the head, Tauru has been careless and breached his duty of care.

The speccy is protected, and rightfully so.
The tackle is protected to a degree too, but get it wrong and you'll get weeks.

The 'speccy' should be no different.
Jump and sit your knee on the oppo's shoulder, no problem.
Get them in the back of the head and cause a concussiin, should get weeks.

Nah. It’s rare enough that it shouldn’t be messed with. The biggest spectacle in the game, and you want to discourage players from going for it?

This push to get rid of the speccy is ridiculous. It’s a part of the game.

It is rare, and thats why the odd poor execution that causes a concussion should be dealt with.
It wont kill the speccy, but it will make the player take more care in how they go about it.

It would kill the speccy. It’s hard enough for the chance to do one, without going through the steps to prevent hitting the head accidentally.

It’s a football act

They are waiting for a freo or port player to do it so they can make example.
I’ll let you in on a secret
Voss wasn’t the first to rub someone’s head
If Voss goes for a hanger this weekend and knocks out little Nicky
The rules will change guaranteed

A North player did it on Friday. Some media clown mentioned it the next day but if we didn't cop anything for it no one will.
