I'm sure George Pell would be pleased to know I don't tar all Catholics with the same brush either. That doesn't mean I don't have huge problems with sections of his faith either.
Nothing to do with tarring groups of people with the same brush. Pointing out the bigotry of the Koran and the passages that are clearly being used as justifications for all kinds of atrocities is not tarring individuals with anything. Showing that certain views are widely held in the Muslim world or that certain practices are carried out under religious sanction that are not compatible with our values is not discrimination against individual Muslims. But those posts are usually met with, at best, something lame about the religion of peace or moderate Muslims, or at worst, accusations of bigotry or some stupid side argument based on what often seems like a deliberate misinterpretation of something someone said. I bet they'd get a few likes from our progressive friend in Bangladesh though.

Umm no. Its exactly the same thing.
If I say Australians are good at swimming or Americans are good at basketball in general, do you think I mean to say that every single Australian is good at swimming and every single American is good at basketball? Of course not.

I'm an Australian and I can't swim for shit.

Feel free to tally the numbers for Muslims versus any other group of people (you get to choose).
What other terrorism has occurred in Australia of recent times.
Anyone remember those marches in Sydney a couple of years ago by young Muslim groups, many wearing the IS sloganry, holding signs with extreme violence against non Muslims as for the obvious crimes of being non Muslim.
But yeh evryfings cool, nuffin ta wuz about ey?

This was in Hyde Park, Sydney. I mean, seriously, WTF is this shit? Mum taking a photo. How cute.

By the way, is voicing my disapproval (and disgust) over that sign Islamophobic? Should we be tolerant of their freedom to express their desire to "behead all those who insult the prophet"? I mean, all religions are equal, yeah?

Neil Erikson, an administrator of the United Patriots Front, promoted the video as showing "one patriot versus a thousand unwashed filth", in which he praises the man convicted of killing the 16-year-old and stabbing another man in the chest.

Narrating over the footage he describes the moments after the deadly attack - when horrified commuters fled the train and platform - as "bloody awesome".

"Look they're like ants running away from one patriot. We have the power. There he is by himself, he won the battle. One patriot versus a thousand left wing unwashed scum.
