Good stuff. Leigh Matthews expressed a similar sentiment not that long ago.Rodney Eade said:Their public utterances have always been considered and articulated very professionally. I have always found them, as a club, to be very honest, professional and people of their word in the small amount of dealings I have had with them. These dealings have included trading - which some clubs are less than honest - practice match organising and coach interviews.
Southerntakeover said:I do find it interesting though that Eade supposedly 'decided' to take the Bulldogs job, over the Crows job when the interviews were taking place.
Did he get told that the job was always Neil Craigs?

Had he been offered both, who knows, he may have taken the Dogs anyway, but it didn't get to the stage where he had to choose.
Eade certainly wouldn't have lost any fans since he's back in the AFL. He deserves all the respect he gets.
Judging by these comments (aswell as earlier ones) he didn't have a problem with the selection process of the Crows.
Certain factions wanted Roos. Trying to remember the game against Essendon where the nail went into the coffin (who was the inexperience ruckman who missed the gimmy goal?) However, probably best for both parties as Roos has gone on to be successful & Eade probably needed the change & is doing well with the Bullies.RoosterLad said:I think Eade is a pretty bloody good coach actually, hes done very well at the Dogs, but im also extremely glad Craig has taken over for two reasons. One, because he has been associated with the Crows in the past, and two, because hes an Adelaide lad.

They can slow the game down, move the ball quickly and have two or three different defensive strategies.
