His main fault is that he believes what the A.F.L. tells him without questioning it. But I have to give him credit for being a strongly opiniated bastard who's not scared to make his point ... and make it again ... and again ... and again.

The downside of being so strongly opiniated is that it makes you a lot of enemies ... speaking from personal experience.

Dan's our most prolific poster, so he cops it the most.

Over simplifying it a little Stealth. Essendon themselves have very little to do with the disagreements that occur. It could be any team. Don't all into the trap of thinking the whole footy world has a vendetta against you. It tends to cloud the judgement when responding.

I don't necessarily believe what the AFL tells me at all. It depends on what the subject matter is. If that was the case, why do I disagree with their finals system for example? If you're referring to the fact that the AFL regards Sydney and Sth. melb as the same club (and I agree with that, because it is a fact) then I presume that is what you were referring to.
