Melbourne and hottie are two words I wouldn’t associate. Average woman there is butt ugly, obese and entitled from my personal experience. Queensland and NSW have far better women and was even surprised by the quality in Adelaide
In my experience Queensland men are uglier than Melbourne men, but the women are far, far more attractive.

We're all diamonds in the rough brother.
I wouldn't say that, I would say there's a disproportionate amount of Christian conservatives and a lot of people who have a disdain for the environment. It hasn't changed since Koh Belke-Petersen tried to put hotels on mangrove swamps and bulldoze the Daintree rainforest.Plus the criminal landclearing that is out of control. Most Queenslanders just see $ signs when there is environmental destruction up there. If Liberal governments had their way in the past, Queensland would just be a giant dustbowl with dried up rivers and more species extinction.

Again with the wild, sweeping generalisations on topics of which you barely comprehend.

Yes, we have our fair share of Christian conservatives, (I'm Agnostic), but last I checked it is still a free country and people can follow whatever faith they wish.
Coming from Joh's area and knowing him as a young bloke, I can 100% assure you that things have changed dramatiically! Just look at how many State Labor Governments we have had since his demise as just one example.
What is this criminal land clearing you speak of?
The problem with people like you is not only your lack of understanding, but your insistence on being right, depite being ignorant of the facts.
Greenies, like yourself, imagine clearing to be two D9 dozers with a chain between them, clear-felling everything in their path.
That simply isn't true, but the numbers have been stacked to appear that way.
If I go into a paddock and knock down 1 year old Brigalow sucker regrowth, in a paddock that has been cleared, (except mature shade and creek bank trees) for 100 years...that action is then counted under current policy as land clearing.
It's being deliberately skewed, it's bullsh!t and it's causing massive issues up here , yet people like yourself just blindly accept the data as factual...and bad.

Get off your arse, come and actually have a look at rural Qld instead of taking mindless potshots from your Victorian hovel.

"If I go into a paddock and knock down 1 year old Brigalow sucker regrowth, in a paddock that has been cleared, (except mature shade and creek bank trees) for 100 years...that action is then counted under current policy as land clearing."- I'm not sure you comprehend the scale of land clearing up there. It's certainly not about one farmer clearing one tree, it's about mass land clearing that destroys native habitat and further damages the barrier reef. Queenslanders treat the barrier reef like it's their own personal possession to be exploited any way they like. The truth is that it is a World Heritage Site of international significance that is being slowly destroyed by Labor state governments and the federal goverment.Tourism operators are begging for an end to land clearing and action on CV climate change.Look at all the Queenslanders outraged that people want to ban single use plastic bags and straws. There is massive illegal and legal land clearing going on and it is not policed properly. The state Liberals are worse than anybody.
"More than 1 million hectares of native bush and forest has been cleared in Queensland over the last four years. Land clearing in Queensland is now on par with Brazil." 2018

Hey dummy.
From your own article and EXACTLY what I am saying.

"With 395,000 hectares of regrowth and old growth vegetation having been cleared in 2015-16."

That figure also takes into account clearing in the SE Corner and Sunny Coast for residential and commercial subdivisions.

See what I mean?
You read an article, don't drill down to look at the actual facts and then get outraged and call all rural Qld'ers campaigners.

Again.
You

You are the dummy and the simpleton champ. You're good at misleading people I'll give you that. What were you doing 4 years ago when the land clearing was ramped up before the state election? You were saying the same thing, I can find some of your posts with your pro-land clearing barracking if you want?I'll tell you what, I'll take the advice of 300 scientists who study science every day before some guy who spends all day on bigfooty. You're in denial like a lot of newscorp brainwashed queenslanders.

QUT and Griffiths are the equivalent of your Monash types. Bond > RMIT. SCU, CQU, James Cook and USQ all on par or ahead of Deakin, Swinburne, LaTrobe, VU
Based on what? I'm using the ARWU - what's your source?

QUT and Griffith are nowhere near Monash in terms of International Rankings. Monash ranked 91st in the world on the ARWU, QUT ranked in the 201-300 band, Griffith in the 301-400 band.

Bond doesn't even rate in the top 500. Neither does SCU or CQU or USQ. RMIT in the 401-500 band.

Deakin, Swinburne and LaTrobe are all well in front of those unis.

And feel free to note who is number one in Australia.

Hmm GST is the only way some richer people are actually paying tax, with the loop holes we currently have.

Doesn't change the Commonwealth distributes QLD more tax revenue back than what they earn
True. Why is that ?
Imagine if me or you avoided 2 pay tax or lied on a ccentrelink form....we would be bent over and screaming for the end
It Getz worse in business. Multinationals that utilize our infrastructure, offshore jobs, pay fek all tax, and with zero consequences.
They just aspirational i guess

Melbourne is expensive as **** and barely cheaper than Sydney. Footy is a national Comp so you can live in backwaters like the gold cost or Adelaide and still get a footy fix, everywhere has good bars, restaurants and breweries (most Melbourne ones serve hipster **** that is undrinkable).

There is very few if any redeeming features to Melbourne and wouldn’t be missed if they were a separate country
I would have thought Aussie rules is abit low brow/working class for Melbourne's lefties isn't it?

Melbourneites are to young and having to much fun yet to take politics seriously. When they do they will come to the realization that the left and Labor/Greens are abit cult like, and well, quite insane.

As the election proved Melbourne is well and truely out of step with the rest of Australia on a number of issues. The Victorian media would have had you believe Dan Andrews is doing a terrific job and federal labor were certainties to win.

Leftist local identities such as Charlie Pickering, Jane Caro, Waleed Ali and Michelle Lawrie have since got on their soap box to criticise the majority of the country for electing a government that didn’t believe in socialism.

Crime continues to spiral out of control in Melbourne and the state Labor government have now all but confirmed there is a massive budget black hole which will result in huge debts while the government refuses to budge on the east west link which they have already wasted $1.3bn on and the federal government have been forced to step in and build the road to stop it from being a political football for Andrews ego.

The most perplexing thing about the whole situation is that the majority of people in Victoria genuinely believe in the socialist propaganda they are fed. They believe they are the majority and anyone who doesn’t agree are uneducated, scared rednecks. It is time Australia booted them out of the commonwealth so they can have their socialist paradise in peace
The biggest problem is triggered and triggered

I'm staunch labor and cant stand the highlighted commentators. Dan is probably the best Liberal style leader in the country.
I just believe redneck politicians are lazy losers as dog whistling is so easy compared to doing something eg policies.
I have reserved optimism Scomo can become a Dan style leader.

Dan is a dodgy dictator style leader friend. Ego is all he cares about. Why else would you burn $5.3bn in funds on a road that Victoria needs
