Toast Why is our club not recruiting indigenous players

Now I know this will be contraversal....our team is the slowest in the league......in fact I would say its one of the slowest ever and we play on a ground thats 179 meters long

Im stagged when see quick players that are overlooked by us.......many of them indiginous.....why?

YES THEY MIGHT ONLY GET 15 POSSIES A GAME BUT PLEASE its what you do with that 15 possies a game not 30 useless possessions..priddis love the guy but he has zero impact on games.......thats harsh I know

but we seriously need some indiginous players next year and beyond.....they can run lines are unpredictable, they also good for a goal or two......

We recruited Ash Smith who is one of the fastest players ever at draft camp, Naita who was top 3 in his camp and last year we recruited, what, 4 indigenous players???

Funny story to be had here too btw.

I have a little piece of truth to be had here for all of ye. Anyone who was born in this country is indigenous. Skin colour and race have nothing to do with it by definition.

Another funny story. One of my uncles is considered an aboriginal. Without a single blood relation to any aboriginal tribe in australia in the last 12 recorded generations of my family. All you need to do to get full aboriginal benefits from the government is have any aboriginal tribe in the country consider you one of them.

Not controversial, just plain wrong.

2 of our 3 national draft picks were indigenous, as were 2 of our 4 rookie picks.

And in the last two drafts we have had a heavy emphasis on quicker players, but like all new players they take some time to find their feet in the big leagues.

And Sheppard > Jetta as well.
