Wow...big staement before the game not shaking Kirk's hand, perhaps a little more humility next time round.

Based only on tonights game; Looked slow, unfit, uninvolved, lacked physical presence, didn't get in-and-under and was basically everything I expected him not to be tonight. I expect more first up from a seasoned footballer.

That said, it is not the end of the world, there were a stack of players that had a slow start over the first round of the NAB cup, however, a glimpse of at least something would've been nice.

He is a veteran player, who is in his early 20's, who we gave up a 1st rnd draft pick for (look who the guy who Sydney took at pick 14, Lewis Jetta, played like tonight)

It wasn't his fault we lost, but why do you assume that it's not acceptable to be critical of players after a loss ???

I'd say a lack of understanding in that it was clear to anyone with half a brain that McLean was played as our main on-baller and tagged heavily all night whereas in a real game Judd and Murphy are the two main men. The coach was experimenting and didn't really care about the result, either way next week would've just been another pre-season game.
