Really has been quite a humorous 24 hrs in the life of F-U. Watching the media and Victorian fans jump on a superstar bloke and player like Cousins has been very interesting to see. Its not easy being a champion like Ben Cousins and like any great they need a timeout every now and then.

Normally for clubs like St Kilda Adelaide and Bulldogs it would be a problem to see one of your older stars take a break due to your distinct lack of young talent. A team like West Coast however can afford to rest a great like Cousins and continue to win with ease. Super young talents like Matt Rosa (the future B.C) Matt Priddis (Hes won a Sandover, might do the Brownlow?) and Shannon Hurn (real no 1 draft pick of 05) will get to step into his shoes while he recharges the batteries and I just know all 3 will stake there claims as AA players this year due to there immense amount of talent.

I guess Woosha knew he had to fit these 3 in there somehow and in doing so was able to give COusins a rest to extend his career into the future. Eagles unlike Adelaide want to build up there youth before the greats go. IMO a smart move by the West Coast Eagles

Its that hard for you to accept the truth. Most of your fans have accepted you have a ordinary list. This should be alot easier to come to terms with
already dipping into the "you have a crap list" bag of insults.

you are struggling with all this Cousins stuff aren't ya??

I expect thats the Western Bulldogs slogan for 2006 and not directed to me.

I dont understand whats so dumb about resting your star players and promoting super talented youngsters into the team. Oh thats right your teams coaches are against promoting young talent. I guess in 10 years time when Eagles are soaring at the top people will applaud this incredibly intelligent decision by the Eagles coaching staff.

The bulldog youngsters will be soaring to great heights in 10 years too if our administration gave them a gold ticket to consume blow.

We are worried because he is a drug addict. He is being rested because his life is in turmoil. His dad is threatening to sue the club for letting his son become a basket case.
Ben Cousins will be remembered for one big thing in years to come. A great WC premiership player will not be it.
