Why we will win the premiership in 2015

Funny how Buckley has all of a sudden turned from being the guy who destroyed a dynasty, into a guy who's building his own.

I'll just stand back and say I've always been of the opinion that he has our best interest at heart, and I've always been a Buckley supporter.

Don't worry, if we lose round 1 the knives will be out.

Been thinking about this long and hard recently, real hard.
Been down to training a few times.
Seen the boys, looking so sharp, focussed, hungry, fit, skilled, strong.
There's some magic going on, the group is united, the mindset is really healthy and positive, and really only way is up from here.
Everyone is on track other than caf and scharenberg, but probably the healthiest and fittest we've gone in to a preseason since 2009. Gonna be serious competition for spots, you can see it in their eyes, they want it bad and they know they've got to go hard and impress to get it. Haven't seen that since 2009.
Pendles looks confident and proud and has breathed some new life in to the captaincy. He's the perfect role model for the new generation of players, and connects in a way that is relevant to them.
Bucks looks the most comfortable I've seen him as coach, he can feel it's finally the unified, obsessed team he's been trying to build, he's walking around grinning from ear to ear just going heck yes this is farken it. Really good move to get rid of beams and lumumba, greenwood, varcoe and crisp just make us look all the better, fresher, faster, stronger, and when pick5 comes in as well we just going to unstoppable.

This is why we will win the flag in 2015:
Pendlebury brownlow
Reid 60-70 goals. Might take the Coleman.
Elliot 50g
Sidebottom norm smith, 35g
Varcoe 40 goals
Karnezis 45g and play every game
Swan AA back to his best lazy 35g resting forward.
Armstrong 30g off the wing and fwd flank.
Cloke 50g and a few stints down back stopping Tippett, Hawkins.
Freeman rising star. 40 assists, 30goals, 10 30+ touch games.
Adams clearance machine.
Seedsman play every game off the wing, 10+ 30 touch games, 20 goals, 30 assists
Grundy becomes No1 ruck in the comp AA
Darcy Moore 35g
Broomhead all class.

Basically goals coming from everywhere, massive wins and an easy run through the finals.
Will be too easy for this team.

heck yeah! What's wrong with a soupçon or even a scoop of optimism? Oh ye of little faith! Apologies in here before 2015 flag celebrations please.
How about a dollop of realism?

I have more chance of sprouting wings than Tony Armstrong has of doing anything mentioned by BBD in his OP..

We are not going to win the premiership next year, we will be lucky to be playing finals...

People put unbelievably unrealistic expectations on the team and then when next year comes along and we're floating somewhere between 8th-12th people will go crazy and claim how the team isn't living up to expectation (there own stupid expectations) and a lot of people here will start bashing the club, players and Bucks. You are all just hyping yourselves up for a massive disappointment.

We have one of the youngest lists in the league we probably won't play finals until at least 2016, and we probably won't challenge for the flag until 2017 at the earliest. People have got to lower their expectations because next year when we're not doing anywhere near as well as some people expect we will get the whole "Bucks needs to go, we were top 4 a few years ago, with another coach we'd still be challenging for the premiership" and a whole lot of more BS.

Just settle down a little people, I know we're all excited about the prospects of our team but we can't start making ridiculous statements like we'll win the premiership next season, it won't end well.

I have no doubt we will win the premiership next year........ and pigs might fly too. Forget premierships, lets just hope we play like a team to an effective gameplan, win, lose or draw.

Nice to finally see an objective assessment of our chances. I would have added Marley Williams 25 goals from back pocket....

I think if he gets some of his attacking flair back he could kick 7.

If players keep walking out (they will again no doubt at the end of 2015) then how can you keep a team together as a coach? He's never had any of the group. Ever.

Who do you believe is that disenchanted that they'll leave at the end of 2015? From my perspective looking in, we've got a pretty enthusiastic young group who respect Nathan Buckley.

Ps. Players leaving due to lack of opportunity doesn't count.

Do you have to take your bollocks out of your mouth when you're having a drink each time??

3am & back on the Anti Bucks bullshit.:drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk:

The question isn't whether they respect him....it's whether they will play for him. The master used to have the team eating out of his hand. He could ask Dane Swan to bark like a dog and he'd do it. He could ask Alan Didak to recite the alphabet backwards. The current coach couldnt even get the players to kick the ball to each other. The master could have got the team to do a lap of the oval on their knees. There may be respect for the current coach, but no devotion.

Given it was only bad luck and injuries that held us back for the last 2 years this makes perfect sense.
