Why will Collingwood win the Grand Final?

I pose the question, why are Collingwood going to win the Grand Final on Saturday against Brisbane?

They won't unless Brisbane have about half a dozen players injured in the game ... & Cloke probably won't be playing.

Aker and Voss sang last week...I have to say, if I was out there I would too. Its the mark of a settled player....better that than standing their chewing your lip like you're about to wet yourself.

Simple football Karma, the brownlow curse, superstition, prayer, history. Collingwood's reign was ended in 31 after they had back to back Brownlows and it will happen again, only karma works faster these days.

Because it is going to be a Melbourne winter afternoon. Hail and freezing howling winds will be enough to help The Pies cause one of the biggest GF upsets of all time.

McGough will be BOG and Nick Davis will break a low scoring game open with 3 goals in the 3rd quarter. Brisbane will finish full of running but The Pies will hold them out to win by a point.

The only other thing I know for sure is 25,000 people at Vic. Park after a GF win makes a lot of noise and buys a lot of beer.

Yeah i noticed that Porthos i think hart and another lions player also hummed a few bars.... as for collingwood none.

Im not offended either way, but there are plenty who like to see our national anthem sung with gustto and pride on such occasions.

No doubt the weather - I recall the 1960 PF Roys V Pies so incredibly muddy and the Roys went down narrowly. Also 1958 was a FREEZING day and the Pies got up.

It's a day for in and under, chest marks and relentless running. 22 v 22 blokes. The Pies have a huge opportunity.

Tarrant if his knee can't be effectively juiced.
Steinfort if they both play.
Freeborne if Steiner's tagging is considered a must. (Freeborne will not be left out - MM always has him and he has played in a Premiership but in a straight Freeborne v McGough I'd pick McGough - especially in the wet).
