Why would anyone want to be an AFL senior coach?

Absolute crap. How much do you think a once a week newspaper column pays? Senior footy journalists are on probably 100-140k.

Breakfast radio pays around $400k for the bigger stations. SEN included.

I agree print probably isn't what it's all cracked up to me anymore (sad actually). Given budget cuts etc.

Is eleventh in the ratings a 'bigger station'? And would SEN pay roughly the same for its morning talent as, say, 3AW, which has four times as many listeners? If so, why? I'm tipping the advertisers don't follow that logic.

3AW would pay much more. It's talent to talent, contract to contract.

Kyle, Jackie O, Hamish and Andy, Ross and John would all be on plenty more.
