With the International Rules match approaching, i was wondering what other international sports (preferably those confined to an individual or few nation/s) could we combine and play for worlwide audiences to watch and laugh at??
I was thinking of a cross between American Football and Polo. Teams line up on horses on either side, full pads and all. The idea of teh game is for the Quarterback to flick the ball to his receivers who must catch the ball in a little sack which hangs down from teh back of the saddle. For a bit of a Medieval look, teh blockers on each teams have the long javeliny things to spike teh other team members off their horses. I'm not sure about a name, maybe Grollo or Podiron.
