Indeed, and shockingly, stay with me here, it turns out Hilary Clinton may not not actually have been a great candidate, and has a proven record as a warmonger who betrays natural Democratic constituencies at the drop of a hat for votes.
Whether Hilary Clinton was a great candidate or not is debatable, whether she wasn’t greatly superior to Trump in almost every metric is not

Depends on what metrics you wish to go with.

How about the "Who is more likely to start wars of choice in the Middle East, destabilising the region and killing hundreds of thousands?"

Trump was the far better candidate there.

Oh I'd take Putin a million times over Trump. Putin has never pretended to be anything but what he is. He's also done a very good job in pulling Russia back from the brink.

Worth recalling Putin wanted to bring Russia into its rightful place in the West too, but was rebuffed.
Let’s be honest Putin was/is part of the ole boys club..
After the fall of the Soviet Union he was the minister responsible for foreign property of the state. Basically he organised and sold off Russia to private enterprise.
If you follow coup’s around the world. That alone should be ringing alarm bells.
Although personally, I’m more interested in Vladislav Surkov, that guy is a genius. Although sadly he may have booted Yasha Levivne out of the country.

Surkov is pretty interesting, although I suspect his lessons have been absorbed and others now lead.

But your timelines are widly out of whack - Putin wasn't appointed to that role til well after the damage was done re the oligarchs. If anything, he's worked to bring Russian state wealth back into state (his lol) control and away from the likes of Khordokovsky.

ExKGB vs Ex Kremlin, I think we can see who won out there..

All the good ole boys of the cold war ended up backing each after, the great game/devils chess board what ever you want to call it, is always about money.

Regardless with the new digital iron curtain going up. It’ll be interesting to see Russia’s take up of Huawei 5g.

Putin isn't ex KGB. I think even he said you never stop being KGB. The KGB took over.

Ding ding ding we have a winner.. intel community all work together, they know each other. He left at the fall of Gorbachev and worked with the good ole boys network, not the red neck kind, to generate wealth afterwards. Similarly what happen in the 60s in America and around the world.

Its certainly not by mistake nasserism was the main target of the 6 day war.

The Kremlin Pedophile
By Alexander Litvinenko

A few days ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin walked from the Big Kremlin Palace to his Residence. At one of the Kremlin squares, the president stopped to chat with the tourists. Among them was a boy aged 4 or 5.

'What is your name?' Putin asked.

'Nikita,' the boy replied.

Putin kneed, lifted the boy's T-shirt and kissed his stomach.

The world public is shocked. Nobody can understand why the Russian president did such a strange thing as kissing the stomach of an unfamiliar small boy.

The explanation may be found if we look carefully at the so-called "blank spots" in Putin's biography.

After graduating from the Andropov Institute, which prepares officers for the KGB intelligence service, Putin was not accepted into the foreign intelligence. Instead, he was sent to a junior position in KGB Leningrad Directorate. This was a very unusual twist for a career of an Andropov Institute's graduate with fluent German. Why did that happen with Putin?

Because, shortly before his graduation, his bosses learned that Putin was a pedophile. So say some people who knew Putin as a student at the Institute.

The Institute officials feared to report this to their own superiors, which would cause an unpleasant investigation. They decided it was easier just to avoid sending Putin abroad under some pretext. Such a solution is not unusual for the secret services.

Many years later, when Putin became the FSB director and was preparing for presidency, he began to seek and destroy any compromising materials collected against him by the secret services over earlier years. It was not difficult, provided he himself was the FSB director. Among other things, Putin found videotapes in the FSB Internal Security Directorate, which showed him making sex with some underage boys.

Interestingly, the video was recorded in the same conspiratorial flat in Polyanka Street in Moscow where Russian Prosecutor-General Yuri Skuratov was secretly video-taped with two prostitutes. Later, in the famous scandal, Putin (on Roman Abramovich's instructions) blackmailed Skuratov with these tapes and tried to persuade the Prosecutor-General to resign. In that conversation, Putin mentioned to Skuratov that he himself was also secretly video-taped making sex at the same bed. (But of course, he did not tell it was pedophilia rather than normal sex.) Later, Skuratov wrote about this in his book Variant Drakona (p.p. 153-154).

This is book Litvinenko cited in the article he wrote just under four months before someone poisoned him with radioactive polonium.

I've never seen or read or it and have no idea if its true or not. Anyway a lot of people made claims about Putin and his rise to power and ended up dead in a way that plenty of ... 9/11 truthers for example ... didn't.

When was he convicted?

Or do you mean "alleged rapist".

So after spending the last half hour reading up on this guy it is apparent he needs to spend some time in jail.

Avoided an arrest warrant for the rape accusations which carries a possible jail term regardless if rape charges have since been dropped.

Also put lives at risk and basically is a hacker.

Won’t lose any sleep whatever happens to this guy but a short jail term seems about right.
