Love him. He is a real competitor and I think he is perfect to play on dangerous small forwards like Nick Watson, Jack Higgins etc which can free up Quaynor more.

His kicking is a slight concern. I think his kicking reminds me of a young Maynard, who despite looking like a nice kick, was very prone to shanking the footy. Maynard ironed that out of his game, which I believe Parker will do with time and experience.

Shaky disposal is the only knock on Parker's game that I can see. He made Allan look bad a couple of times with handballs that were not quite where they should have been. (as Allan did to others) I am very hopeful that both will slowly build the standard of their ball distribution as they get more experience in the cauldron that is football at that level. They will never be Daicos like in their disposal, but I expect them to get a lot better than they are at present.

He did make it hard for Allan in that passage of play for sure.

In fact overall, our team's handballing is pretty poor, and it is hugely important to our gameplan. The number of handballs that are too far in front, behind, too high, low, or that actually don't get to the target on the full is a real problem for us, and it is one of the simplest skills in the game. I know we put a lot of work into it, but I think we need much more.

I thought Parker played well, he is courageous and smart in congestion. I think his kicking is actually good, but he does take dangerous options which is a double edged sword unless you’re Pendles or Nick. It’s not like he’s Tay Adams though, he can temper it a little and be completely fine.

I think his handballing needs work, but that may also come down to increased strength to absorb contact and still get an effective handball away.
