I know we are all getting swept up onto the tiggy train, but what happens if GWS win tomorrow? Does the AFL expect a Crows v Giants sellout at the G?

The crows are playing infront of the biggest ever Adelaide oval crowd at 56k, so you would have to assume that is the absolute max the crows could even consider as being able to attend the game at the G. Where does the other 40k come from?

AFL Members and MCC make up about 45k.
Every club gets something like 700 tickets and most of these have already been sold in those expensive packages.

Do you realise how many neutrals are at a Grand Final?

Doubt Crows will get more people to the MCG than they've ever had in Adelaide though
They don't need to - there's only about 20k tickets for each side anyway. There is 0% chance it won't sell out, tens of thousands of neutrals would go if tickets were available.

Between corporates, neutrals and theatre goers who can grab a ticket, it will still sell out. Would worry about the atmosphere though. If it comes to this, I hope a lot of Crows supporters are heading into town before game day or GF week atmosphere in Melbourne could be pretty ordinary.

Could have sworn that didn't happen last time it was two dull interstate clubs

There were 93,858 at the 2010 replay. I reckon the crowd would be between that and 97,000 or so. Doubt it would get close 100k like some GFs do.
