So... you're advocating throwing him on the scrap heap AFTER we get him fixed? :p

But seriously, I think you're probably right. If the odds of him having any kind of significant impact this season (bearing in mind that even after he's recovered he'll probably need to do some kind of mini preseason to get himself fit then run into form in the SANFL) at anywhere around 50% or less then bite the bullet, put a line through him for the year and focus on getting him right for next year.

I can't believe people are asking if Brad has any talent.

He'd have multiple All Australians by now if he'd played consistant seasons.

Think he'd be close to the best midfielder in the competition if he hadn't had any injuries.

The fact he's been able to come back in after such long periods on the sideline and just play is amazing.

Hopefully, but it's kinda getting to the "it's a bonus if we do" stage.

A damn shame, seeing that kid has all the talent required and then some.

Completely buried Dustin Martin trying to escape a contest in one of those clips.

    What might have been.

Just needs another two seasons like last year. He is 24, will be 25 at the start of next season.

    Seems likely.

Only way he doesn’t is if his current OP is so severe it is career ending.

He and Omera have had shocking runs with injury. I wonder if its his way of running (form, stride length etc) that causes the injury (like Cyril and his hamstrings) and whether focusing on technique would help.

Has talent in spades (if only he was as durable as Matt) and will get to 100 games.

I heard an interview the other night with Longmire where they were talking about Alex Johnson and how the club has supported him through 5 knee reconstructions. Longmire made the point that looking after guys like Alex is a big part of the culture that has been created at Sydney.

I think the same holds true for Crouch, the club just needs to keep supporting him. Trading him off because he's had previous injury issues would be incredibility bad for the club culture IMO. We support our own and the club needs to continue to work with Brad to get him fit.

I feel confident that we'll get some great footy out of Brad, he's had various different injuries rather than the same persistent issue so that gives me some confidence that we'll eventually get him right.

100 games on the PlayStation, I guess he’s well and truly past that.

Yeah I reckon he'll get there. I think he'll get to about 150 odd.

He's actually only 24 years old. Still plenty of time for him to figure out his body; when to rest, when to do light training, and when to train hard. I have some faith he'll come back in the latter half of the year. BCrouch, Sloane and Smith would be handy selection for Finals matches!

If we can get 150 games out of Brad, then we would have done well as a club.

Yeah, agreed. Don't think he'll go anywhere, and we'll always be happy to keep him on as depth unless it becomes clear his body is beyond the point of no return.

He'll put together lumps of games that will most likely take him to the 100-150 range. It'll be a bonus when he's available, but if we're smart we'll plan for him not to be.

He needs to take up yoga or something like Pav did to prevent injuries. Guy’s a bloody leaky boat .
