Will Brucey stay with 7, or switch to 9????

What do we think. Will he follow the footy and become part of the 9 commentary team, or will he stick with channel 7 so he can be there for the 2004 olympics.

This is an interesting one! I think he will stick with Channel 7, returning to Sportsworld. I can't see him switching, but i guess it isn't beyond the rhelms of possibility. Unfortunately you will see Dermott and Robert Walls switch back to Nine as Seven would be struggling to have a role for them both.

In all honesty...i wouldn't mind if Bruce did switch stations. A talent like Bruce would be wasted on simply hosting one sports show a week, an odd Olympics and Aths Championships here and there.

We will soon find out.

I say they should give him some 'special' treatment and let him do both the footy, and every 4 years the olympics.

I hope Dermie doesn't switch, I can't stand his 'special' comments which seem to take up more time than the actual commentry of the game.

Then there is always the possibility of Eddie..... I say let Brucy do both!!!!!

I know that he's definately contracted to cover the winter olympics in Feb 2002, but after that I'm not too sure what he'll do. Maybe he could join a radio team to call the footy?

I seem to recall seeing it reported that he has now re-signed until 2004 and the Athens Games.

As much as I respect Bruce, that 'growl' does get on my nerves. Nice guy, a genuine enthusiast who is not given to the stroking of his own ego. Yeah, I guess I can tolerate the caveman voice. Hope he goes to 9.
