The thing is we finished 9th and you finished 8th in 2011 yet we had the same chance of winning the flag - zero.

Funnily enough, both clubs again have the exact same chance of winning this years premiership.

Should/when they beat an undefeated west coast at docklands on the weekend, the spotlight will be on them and rightly so.
They are the form Victorian side playing great football with clearly good depth.

I have to admit I didn't see them coming on so fast but players like crameri, Hurley, Stanton, bellchambers, heppel are turning into genuine superstars they are on track to finish top four and if they do watch out.

7-1 with a lovely percentage and GWS & Melbourne to come in the next two weeks.

The failure which many opposition hoped for is just not going to eventuate.

I still doubt we'll win the flag (as the topic suggests) but we should certainly be finalists and give it some sort of crack.

The final 8 is now set and the failure we hoped for did eventuate.

The only thing left to have some sort of crack at is in 7 days time - Mad Monday.
