need 1 of them to come through, both played well yesterday and have both had thier best pre-season's yet. might even be the 1st ones they have had with no interruption? It looks like the stars might finally align for Griffiths and he might get an injury free run at the big time. I think we would be mad not to take this opportunity and give Griffiths a chance to show how good he can really be.
I have high hopes for Astbury and Griffiths this year I think their time has finally come. If those two become players woweee.

Exactly.
Big Ben has hardly had a preseason in the time he has been at the club. He has had shoulder ops, bone grafting to the shoulders etc etc. On top of that he has been played down forward, down back, dropped after just one poor performance in round 1 last year.....It's a wonder the guy has any confidence left in him at all.
Finally he gets one preseason in and some faith is shown in him. Guess what happens? He actually shows he can play.
Surprise, surprise, surprise as Gomer Pyle used to say!
I think he is a lock if Ivan is unavailable for the first part of the season.
) will be like "Who the hell is Aaron Black?"Griffiths is better than Hampson IMO. Same opinion as every one else. Only NAB Cup so far, but super pumped about what he might bring this year

Its not his ruck work, but Griff as a key forward/ruck thats looking very exciting. Both Griff and Vick are 200cm and very mobile and quick, opp backs are going to struggle against themProbably against the trend here but I think Griffiths is just a depth player. I haven't watched last weeks game yet so I stand corrected but didn't he ruck against a 19 year old 7 game player in Brodie Grundy? Lets see how he goes against reasonable opposition before considering him as a ruck option in the senior team.

Old man and a spud.Well, lets hope that it gets a trial against Essendon and they play Carlisle, Hooker, Ryder, Fletcher, Hurley and anyone else half decent that may play on him so we get a real indication of how that goes. All for that.

With Maric out for 6-8 weeks, Griff would be a lock for Round 1 as that back-up ruck/forward role.
