I'm backing him to get more games this year. Easily brushed aside, but he's got a desperation factor that still makes him competitive and looked to have the patterns down.

Yes but is he boom or bust? What are your expert player assessment skills telling you? Interestingly there's nothing from you about Will as Claremont under 18. Can't wait for your prediction for young Will's future like your clairvoyance with Tom McGuane, will he be a boom or bust? Not to worry he has the 'patterns down', nice use of footy jargon without having any idea of what it actually means.

Will has the attributes to be a good two-way flanker if he isn't a boom recruit, so he could be boom, bust or anything in-between. I'm betting on something in-between.

I think it would be dependent on Bobby playing. If Bobby doesn't play, Hayes more likely to be selected this week.

Any kid outside the top ten who cracks it for a game or two in his first season has had a decent first year, (in my opinion). It's how they come back, prep and go next year, then you can really start to see if they are on the right trajectory.
