Will Hayward
Spritely Sydney Swans forward Will Hayward enjoyed a rocketing start to his career as he became the 11th-youngest player in the AFL era to reach 50 career goals in 2018. The 2016 draftee’s nippy pace and cunning goal awareness have made him a dangerous option in coach John Longmire’s forward line. A broken jaw and a persistent hip injury limited Hayward to just 12 goals in 13 senior games in 2019, but the South Australian is attacking the 2020 campaign on the back of his first full pre-season. Don’t be surprised if the exciting Swan finds himself on a wing this year.

Will Hayward
DOB: 26 October 1998
DEBUT: 2017
DRAFT: #21, 2016 National Draft
RECRUITED FROM: Walkerville (SA)/North Adelaide (SANFL)

He was near his best but he a few similar or better last year, at least 13 or so games he scored 2 or more goals from memory 18 with 4 marks or more , again from memory.

He had a consistent year, can’t defend the sloppy start this year but he was one of the best flankers in the league last year

I thought you were one of the great flankers . Do you turn back your clocks tonight ?

Nah I stay on daylight savings all year, just easier

Seems to me that Hayward tends to play better when he’s got more responsibility in the forward line. When he’s either more of an obvious focal point or when he’s required to step up as the leader when someone like Papley isn’t there. Happened a number of times in the last few years. Great game.

I am really happy for him to have that performance.

I know people view Hayward as not talented enough. But I always thought he was a good player. He can take a leaping mark, he is quick, can crumb a loose ball to kick a goal, can cover ground defensively and is an ok field kick.

Maybe he just needs to find a way to stay involved in games.

May I ask what operating system and device you are using?
There was a similar problem a few months ago with IOS18 and tapatalk (which is also BF app.)

Edit:
Need to use the web-based version

The thing that baffles me is there are so many who are literally ready to delist him after he has a bad game or 2.

Has more than that , but as i posted last night it was a great performance

I think he should have been in danger with players returning, but great for Will to produce that. Not going to kick 4 every week, but just needs to impact consistently.

He gave a really good interview on Fox. Acknowledged he had been down on form, gave himself a good talking to and was very pleased he was able to walk his own talk. Refreshingly open. I think 2024 might be back. Time will tell of course. Now he needs to talk to his mate Ollie.

Spot on that's my issue , would love him to have that consistency

what consistent level do you want. ?

you say last year wasn't consistent when he kicked 40 plus, so what's the level ?
