well i dont know...but he showed how valuable he is to us in the game against st kilda, big pack mark, couple of goals, good return and hopefully he builds on it this week

Yeah in the first quarter i thought he contested really well they kicked to him a fair bit,which i think is good cause when he is down the forward line they dont use him as much but now with rocca out and tarrent struggling they may just have to use him.4 goals would be nice this week.

I think he would be the captain after Anthony Rocca.

Probably not the best ruckman or forward, but he would definitely turn out be a great player for the club.

i have no doubt that josh needs to bulk up quite a bit, and get a bit of mongrel into him.i cant remember seeing a guy his size get pushed around by opposition players and not stand up for himself.

It looks more unlikely each year. Dissapointing, as he looked real good a few years back. Looks the the black and white ate away at his ability.
Trade him to the Blues for rehab.

Not a no.1 draft pick...he has developed pretty late though you might say. Is a natural leader, and has talent. Needs still that extra bulk for a ruckman. A handy tap ruckman but not in the centre bounces. Quality forward. Will never be a superstar, but will be a reliable tall forward who plays in the ruck more than occasionally.

I reckon he's a champ like the rest of the black and white but it seems he was a poor choice at number 1( another poor draft pick).
Does any one know the rest of the top 10 in '99?

I don't know if he'll be a superstar but he is certainlly capable of it.
But he will always be a very good player. Supremely underrated.
No 1 draft pick means he has to be an elite player which he isn't but lets just look at him for what he is. Which is right now a very good player. He will be a great player but his challenge is to become a superstar.

I really think if josh plays this week he'll be smashed by knobel and simmonds. With Stafford probably out, pattison will be brought in and from all reports, he's been a star in the reserves.

I sympathise with you guys on Fraser. In a similar boat to ottens but ottens at least had a stellar season in 01 with AA selection. He definately needs to put a heap of muscle on cause he just doesnt mix it with the gorillas. Talent to burn but not a true ruckman.

He was definately injured coming into the match and looked to have reinjured himself.
Looked quite fit against St.Kilda though.
I would say he is only a 30% chance to play against Richmond.
