Leigh had to leave the field for a 5 minute period due to the resulting injury.

I think what he did was worse. He tried to deliberately hurt a player by going to a contest he was not involved in and trying to inflict pain on someone.

The worst part was the way the Kangaroos player was on the ground kicking his legs in pain as Judd was bending his arm back... causing him to go off the ground. That will be the part of the video evidence that is going to give Judd weeks.

Cops do that every week out the front of night clubs, seriously HTF up, nothing in it, grabbed the arm of a guy who was laying on the ball... its called tackling!!

It was newsworthy, informative and became fact.
I made an error re his other incident, which I corrected. As it turns out it is relevant as it will effect his possible penalty.
There are plenty of people who are replying so it is of interest.
I even hoped he would GET OFF. Are you going to ban the Carlton supporters who want him reported?????????

How can anyone defend Judd? His record of intentionally trying or actually hurting opposition players whilst the ball is not even in play is appalling - elbow to the face causing heavy bleeding, pressure point, gouging and now trying to (and it appears he succeeded) in popping a blokes shoulder out. I repeat, none of these were whilst the ball was in play. You look at the Wellingham one - ball was in play, he made a split second decision where his eyes were on the ball until he had just about left the ground and knew impact was coming and decided it was worth laying out Simpson and maybe doing it fairly causing a turnover, than impeding and giving away a free anyway.

Some of the great players do have that underhanded nastiness. Leigh Matthews is arguably the geatest player to play the game, but was a very, very nasty person on the field.
