I took exception to you comparing one game of Breust to season stats for Shiels and Smith like it was proof he can't kick straight

Smith has not been accurate in front of goals for a while now unfortunately, Shiels never has and Langer's isn't accurate either

I'm not a fan of bagging players, I'm also not a fan of bullshit stats

Selective would be a more appropriate word, but fair enough.

you've selected the only game in his entire career where he kicked four points to use as an example of how he should be criticized ahead of Langers I'm assuming, and if you've been reading this board for a while you'd know he gets more than his fair share of criticism as it is

Breust and Gunners were historically elite kicks for goal. Not sure what's happened. Smithy is handy, particuallry on the run, but missed two against the Cats.

Langers has always been poor and got worse. One does not need data to draw this conclusion, surely...

Something happened to Punky. 45 out on any angle and he would go back and nail them with confidence.

He and Gunners were brutal on opposition and even when they played average games would always find a way to end up with 2 or 3 and have an influence on the result.

Hope he gets that killer instinct back as he was an assassin for a while there.
