Feel sorry for them and Thompson. We have been bad, but with the Kangas focal point up forward gone, gonna be hard for them to kick winning scores.

I had them in as wooden spooners but wasn't real confident as they are fit early and should get the jump on a few teams early. May give them some confidence and false belief that they're not a rabble.

But with Thompson going down that leaves Fat-pack Brown as CHF. Or maybe Petrie. Going to be tough. Also Carey comments on Laidley don't help the confidence.

They'll only need a few losses on the trot and the presure will be on. Media will speculate and go seek comments from the Careys and split board members and possibly potential tickets.

Gut feeling is a testing year for the Kangas.
