MRP doesn't factor in precedence so they can protect their golden children (Mitchell) whilst penalising the rest (Hawkins, soon to be Selwood etc.)

And, if that wasn't conspiracy enough, they know geelong wouldn't challenge at this stage of the season if they do give Selwood 2 down to 1, so they'll definitely do it
