You guys sure are talking a big game given you've being completely outclassed and embarrassed the past two times we've played you.

It would be like me challenging a West Coast supporter and thinking they'd be intimidated by us.

It's really quite delusional.
I don't think the upcoming home and away means much, no matter who wins. Its significance is around the finals positions, but as a form guide it wont mean much in September. Any of the top 6 sides could beat each other on their day in a final.

Keep talking us down it's only going to be sweeter for tiger fans bumping this thread.

That's really great.

I don't even think "Players Used" captures the true extent of the injuries this year... it hasn't been that we've had a ton of them, but rather that the entire top 13 of last year's Best & Fairest have missed games, and half of those have been long-term, out for a month or more.

It is tantalizing to imagine that we've gotten this far with our B team, and now that we have something resembling a full-strength side again, we might return to 2018 form.

No, it didn't.

It had less to do with the fact we played at the 'G and more to do with the fact their little period of dominance had come to an end.

Which is why I'm not getting overexcited about their chances on the back of two wins against bottom 4 teams.

Whether their remaining games are played at the MCG or not, they simply ain't that good.

Their record suggests they play better at the G then elsewhere so it’s little wonder they are happy about playing there. Don’t think anyone is claiming they are unbeatable there (most have suggested they will drop a couple during that run). Add to that they are getting back key players and I believe they will challenge top 4 and from there anything can happen.

It will be interesting to see how it all finishes up.

We've play only 6 games at the MCG so far this year with 0 of those against interstate teams and 1 against an away team in the cats (Who smashed us)

So with 7 games coming at the G, against some actual interstate away team instead of joint tenants, I am hoping we can get up and win those and make a charge to finals and maybe even top 4, 5 or 6 to get a home final.

Except their past 3 games at the 'G against top 8 teams, where they have lost all 3 with an average losing margin of 50 points...
Exactly correct.
You should have no trouble at all winning against us considering your ladder position.

Ladder position has nothing to do with it.

Assuming we get our mojo back before we meet, you are simply a vastly inferior side. As we have proven the last two times we have met, where the scoreline has actually flattered the Tigers.

Yes, of course.

Only Richmond have injuries to quality players.
Of course Riley Dunn is such a loss compared to Rance to name just one. Tiges ins have definitely more upside than poor old Pies. By the way have noticed Nathan has stopped his smiling and isn't footy fun routine. That poor old telephone he uses has copped a hiding of late. Enjoy your next month.See you round whatever....

Apologies for letting facts get in the way of your story. It's no longer late 2017 or early/mid 2018.

A Brisbane supporter of all people should know a year is a long time in football.
And a Collingwood supporter should know a couple of months is a long time in football

I could argue with you about whether any other team has had such a quality of outs - a Brownlow medalist, the best defender in the league, a three -time Coleman medalist and so on. But it's actually irrelevant to the argument. The point is not whether those outs are unique; it's that they ARE NO LONGER OUT. You keep making the same stale argument that we are bound to lose because we lost there this year. Even if you think that means we have no depth because other teams have managed to cover similar losses, that happens to be irrelevant. Because WE DON'T HAVE TO COVER THOSE LOSSES NOW. Though I don't know why I bother. You're just a Collingwood troll who wants to endlessly wank on about the fact that you beat us in a final for the first time since the 1930s.

HMMMM..we could say the same about WC/Collingwood. That would make Collingwood vastly inferior as we have dealt with you for the last quite a few games. I think a tad arrogant to talk in those comparisons as we get to the pointy end of the stick as, on a given day, one top tiered team can beat another if they are a little off.

One team was on the way up, the other is on the way down.

Fair difference there.
